This weekend, our dedicated Knights of Columbus will be stationed outside the church following Mass, buckets in hand and smiles on their faces, rallying support for the annual Tootsie Roll Drive. Every donation fuels life-changing programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities—think empowering rides with Special Olympics or transformative equine therapy through Equine Dreams, a Christ-centered nonprofit that brings hope and healing to kids and adults with special needs.

Today’s new episode of Gospel Picnic is here! This beautiful series is designed especially for children, giving Catholic parents a way to help their little ones grow in faith through engaging stories, songs, and lessons rooted in the Gospel.

In this episode, The Narrow Gate, children will learn what Jesus meant when He said, “Strive to enter through the narrow gate” (Lk 13:24). Through child-friendly teaching, the program shows that following Christ may not always be easy, but it is the surest path to true joy and eternal life. Kids will discover that saying “yes” to Jesus in small ways—sharing, obeying, praying, being kind—are all steps through that narrow gate.

Gospel Picnic helps families talk about the faith together, planting seeds of discipleship in young hearts. It is a wonderful way to teach children that holiness is possible, even in their everyday choices.
