I found this little guy today when I was just checking around the new pool. He crawled into my hand, and when I tried to put him down beyond the glass fence, he hopped up onto my finger and didn’t want to let go. 🦎

Today marks the 25th anniversary of the worst day of my life. 25 years ago today, we lost one of the best ones that ever lived on this earth. I can’t believe how much time has marched on, even though this day is frozen in my memory forever. 25 years ago today, my younger brother Rich passed away. This month is always very hard on me as it is the month he was born as well as the month he passed. I knew today was coming, and I woke up with a slight headache and a white noise buzzing in my head. Every year on this day, I always feel the same...lost, distracted, saddened.

Many of you knew my younger brother. His laugh was infectious. His smile lit up a room. He went out of his way to make everyone feel comfortable and at ease. The world was a much better place with him in it. He was a brother, son, friend, godfather to my younger son, and an inspiration to me. Today, I will try to look past the tragic events of this day and celebrate and remember the 29 years I got to share with him. Today, like every day, I love and miss you little brother…RIP Rich 💔

Today is the first day since Thanksgiving that I’ve felt somewhat human again. Whatever was going around hit our house hard. I was in bed sick since Thursday night with a severe cold/flu and it knocked me on my butt for almost 4 days. Hopefully that was the end of it.
