FYI; rabid bat found in the city of Regina

⚠️ Public Safety Notice ⚠️

A rabid bat has been confirmed in the Glencairn area of Regina.

What you need to know:

-Pets should be kept current on rabies vaccines, even if they live indoors. Bats can and do enter homes, garages, and cabins.
-Do not handle bats or other wild animals.
-If your pet has contact with a bat or other wildlife, contact a veterinarian immediately.

👉 Rabies vaccination is the best protection for your pets, your family, and our community.
