Today Dad took us to Paull and let us off the lead to let us run around together. Dad soon realised he had made a bad move when Cookie decided to run down a tractor tyre track that was full with water. In she goes at full pelt with water splashing everywhere. I know that I don't really know measurements but it was for about 10 meters dad says. Now Dad knows why they decided to call her 'Cookie' because she turned around and ran back through it again. She must have thought it was real fun because this happened about a dozen times. Good job Dad has a doggy sheet in the back seat of his car as she was filthy by the time she had finished. I have posted a picture of our fun run prior to the water escapade.

Ok let me tell you what has happened. Mum and Dad went out in the car yesterday evening and came back with (have you guessed it?) a FRIEND for me. She is very tall and leggy and her name is 'Cinnamon'. I think Mum and Dad are talking about changing her name to 'Lady', but she doesn't respond to that name yet.
She is very boisterous and to be honest has worn me out so far but Dad says she will calm down. Lol I am just glad to get a bit of peace.
Here are photo's of her resting after this mornings long walk.
We was out for a good while and Dad was moaning about how cold the wind was and the fact that Cinnamon wanted to stop and sniff every fence, lamppost and blade of grass on our walk.

Mmm. Something is happening. Mum has been incredibly busy. going off to the shop earlier than normal. My Aunty has been helping Mum and Dad has stayed off, meaning that I get a few extra long walks. Mum has been getting in a bit later than usual as well, so Dad has been doing my tea. He makes it before Mum gets home but I don't eat it. I wait until Mum and Dad have finished theirs in case they leave something nice for me to eat. I think I remember this time last year, and if I am not wrong it is the time when I get lots of really good nosh-ups. (Yummy) and presents from all the family. I also remember spending a bit more time in the garden after eating all those little green balls and Mum saying "OMG, can someone put him out". Mum will try to get me to wear a new daft hat or reindeer antlers or even a new jacket. The jackets I can cope with, but, please, no hats or sunglasses.

This morning was pretty cool. Dad typed to someone on his computer. Next thing I know I have my harness on and whisked off to Dads car. Went to Beverley to pick up a mirror from a lady. Windows down all the way there and back. Love to feel the wind in my gums. Oh yes.. jowls flapping in the wind on the boys day out.

Mum came home at lunchtime today. She put my car harness on and took me in the car to the shop. Just had to start whining as soon as I got to the shop, co's that's what I do.
She did a couple of jobs and then put my lead on to take me for a "PAMPER SESSION" at Pets Paradise. After a perfumed bath and a manicure I was back in the shop again. At least I only whined for 2 hours. That has got to be a record.

Think I have done a boo-boo. Mum and Dad have recently opened a shop. They bought a gate to keep me off the shop floor and put it in between the making area where Mum works and the storeroom where she keeps all her moulds and things. I can see her from where I am but I can't go and hang around her feet. So I have been whimpering (not just a bit) kind of all day. Not just today but near enough everyday for about 2 weeks.
This has drove Mum and Dad crazy and now I think they are making other plans for me. Will probably have to stay home with Sarah Jane and sleep all day. Wow it really is a dogs life.
