ATTENTION! If you have a heart for senior pups, or know someone, please apply or share! Indy is a 14 year old Blue Heeler who was surrendered to one of our vet clinic friends due to his pet parent being in a rehab/nursing home care.
He is friendly and needs a place to live out his years! He is on medication for high blood pressure (Amlodipine Besylate 2.5mg and Enalapril 10mg), and has a heart murmur. He tolerates his meds well and is a great old pup. He does have sight loss, (don't we all as we get old)? He seems non-reactive to one of the clinic cats, and does well with low energy dogs, as he’s an old guy who hasn’t got time for young dog nonsense. 🙂 Please apply with Big Bones Canine Rescue, if you can offer this sweet boy a quiet and loving home to retire in! 🙏💜🐾

Hi! My name is Charlie and I am a 5 yr old Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd mix. I am a big, sweet, and gentle boy and I love to be outside! I need a home with another energetic dog like myself, so we can have fun playing! My foster home doesn't have a big yard and I'm going stir-crazy, (so no small yards for this big guy). I'm a very good boy, and am house trained. I love to be petted, hugged and kissed, (although I'm not a couch dog that likes to snuggle or give kisses). I love going on walks and am very good on a leash. I am good with cats, too, and I'm friendly to everyone that comes into my house- kids included! (The more attention I get, the better). I am not very experienced with stairs, so I would either need a ranch style home, or someone patient and willing to help me learn how to use stairs. I know I would be a great addition to your family! Border collie!

Luca is a dog that found himself in the wrong family for him. He needs a family that is going to work with his physical and mental stimulation needs along with any behavior modification necessary. Now Luca is sitting in a shelter begging his Mom to come back for him 😔
He has a chance, if we can find a foster willing to spend the time he needs, to give him what he needs.
Luca has resource guarding tendencies, dog savvy kids 12+ only

Aurora friends, we need your help! One of our volunteers found this sweet, beautiful kitty, and she even found the 'lost cat' post for her, but the owner only used a hidden email as contact info and they haven't responded -- she's been lost since Labor Day! Chip also isn't registered. We'd love to get her home! Her name is Bliss and it appears her owners live in 80018, around Plains and Qatar.
