What a fabulous weekend I had with my crew. I am so proud of them and all the students who also played this weekend, you guys are brilliant.

Sat Beetlejuice and I were at an agility seminar by Meagan O'Neil. We still have lots to learn but so much fun.

Sunday- Twig, Willow and I went to the Canadian Detection Sport Association hosted by Super Sniffers Nosework trial today.
Twig played in DS2 and passed all 3 of her components,also got 3rd place in containers and exterior along side her DS2 Jr title.
Willow played in DS1 and did a great job. She passed all 3 of her component, got second place in interior and exterior. She received her DS1 jr title and also got 1st place over all.

I took both Beetlejuice and Twig to the PNW Updog Championship in Armstrong this past weekend. The event was well organized and so much fun. Both dogs handled everything like champs especially Beetlejuice as this was his first large event. He took everything in stride and was a very good boy. We saw so many many excellent teams that inspired us and so many different breeds playing as well. There were corgi, NSDT, mudi, mcnabs, labs, BC, koolies, boston, shepherd of all kinds, am staff, and so many more.
My 2 did so well, twig came and had a blast running after some plastic. She didn't place as it was thick competition.
For Beetlejuice first big competition, he handled it like a champ. I was so proud of him as we went into this with no expectations. He did so well, we placed in 3 of the games, 2nd I 4way play, 9th in Far Out and 10th in throw n go.
We also played 4 way pairs and had so much fun. Thanks to Jade and James for being my partner.

Congratulations Dan Flashes.. we are all very proud of you.

Dan Flashes went to his first scent detection trial today and earned Q’s in all three components to attain his Started Special title! He also placed 1st in Interior. Daniel can sometimes be overwhelmed by the busy trial environment but he made me so proud by being calm around the many other dogs and strangers and waiting patiently in the car between his runs. The future looks bright for our little star 🤎

The SDDA Trial from last weekend is up and ready for purchase. I am running a sale for the trial until August 1st. All photos for 50$ per dog! I got all runs for dogs in exterior and containers. The interior spaces were just a bit to small for me to be there this time!

Had a fabulous updog trial with these 2. Twig came out to play a few game as well. She even got a 2nd place in one of the games.
Beetlejuice did wonderful, we have lots to work on but he definitely enjoys the sport.

Today Twig and I traveled to Courtenay and participated in the SDDA Elite trial and came home with our second elite title.

Thank you to Heather Wilson from K911 dog sport and the judge Doug Wilson for a wonderful trial.
Not only did Twig pass all 3 components, she also got a first place for containers and received High in trial. This little one sure loves this game we play.

This past Sunday I had the pleasure judging DS1 for the super sniffer and host Lindsay Jamieson Powel.
It was fun watching so many amazing teams.

And congratulations to everyone who competed this last weekend as there was also a Cwags trial.
