We are a small group of volunteers dedicated to the unwanted, abused, and neglected animals of Lorain County, and continuing the efforts of those who started the organization 30 years ago. We are a non-profit organization following the rescue, restore, and rehome moto for all animals in our care. Our long term goals are to widen our volunteer base, and to increase our fundrasing so that we can con

tinue to help the animals within our area. We do not have a shelter, all of our rescues are cared for in wonderful foster homes, providing an environment just like thier furever home will be. We attempt to match our adoptable animals with the best home possible, based on personality and needs of the animal and the adopters. We are diligent about vet care for our animals. All animals recieve all immunizations, testing, and health checks that are needed. All of our animals are spayed and neutered. We have many volunteer opportunites, so if you are interested, please let us know. Volunteering for a great cause is a gift that always gives back ten-fold.

Meet Mooshu, a 1-year-old cuddle bug who weighs in at 50 pounds of pure affection. This sweet boy may take a little time to decide you’re friend material, but once you’ve earned his trust, he’s all about the love! Mooshu thrives on affection, especially when he gets to lean into you for scritches, which he adores.

Though he’s still young, Mooshu has a laid-back and chill personality. He’s the perfect companion for someone who wants a relaxed, easygoing dog to spend time with—whether it’s lounging on the couch or enjoying some quiet time together. If you’re searching for a loyal, affectionate friend who will bring calm and comfort to your life, Mooshu is ready to be your new best buddy!

We just can't get enough of Pablo's ears! This very adorable boy is a great mix of sweet and silly. He's an energetic goofball who is not having a good time cooped up in the kennel. Pablo is a people-centric dog who seems eager to please. He knows how to sit and wants to be a good boy, but it's a little hard to focus all the time in the chaotic environment. During quiet moments, Pablo loves sharing downtime with a friend by hanging out on a bench or getting pets. He can't wait to relax in a home! He was playfully social with other dogs for his play group assessment.

Pablo is estimated to be around 5 and he weighs 46 lbs, but needs to gain some weight.

If you’re looking for a best friend to share Thanksgiving yumminess with and then cuddle up in a food coma, Duchess is your girl!! Her 2 favorite things are eating and cuddling ❤️❤️ We’d love to find her a home so she can lay on a comfy couch and be the center of attention this holiday season! She has been in the kennel for years now - loves humans, not fond of other dogs. Loves her stuffed animal toys and blankies. Let us know if you are a good fit and would like to meet her. She’s a Boxer mix up for adoption through Lorain County Pit Crew

Meathead Alert!

Meet Gordy. The goofiest, playful meathead around! Gordy is 3 years old and 66 lbs of lovable smoosh. This guy loves to meet you at the front of his kennel with a ruff or two to say hello. He loves playing ball, taking walks, and sitting next to you while you pet him.
