MEATBALL WENT FOSTER TO ADOPT 🎉

Check out this meatball with the perfect name! Meet MEATBALL! Wouldn’t he look great on your couch? This senior ‘low rider’ who never lost his puppy face, is Adorbs! He’s Bright, Friendly, Afffectionate & Easy to Handle. He’s a Snap to Walk. (He Waddles 😉). He is also Undemanding, but does have a fondness for back scratches & treats. He knows what to do esp when a treat is offered. He will Politely sit & take it Gently from your hand. MEATBALL is the Best! He’s the guy who wins every popularity contest without trying. He’s so Cute, all he has to do is show up!
He’d love for you to come meet him.

MEATBALL has been nonreactive to the other shelter dogs but has not been tried in playgroup yet.
Kids-probably
About-7yrs old
About-40lbs (great medium size!)
Probably best as an only dog.

🇺🇸 Closed on the Fourth of July 🇺🇸

The SPCA Tampa Bay Veterinary Center will be closed next Tuesday, July 4th.

Tips to keep your pet safe on the Fourth:

🎆 Have current identification and a microchip. Microchipping your pet can dramatically increase the chances that you will be reunited with your pet should they become lost.

🎆 If your pet requires prescription calming medication during fireworks, call your vet office NOW to request your appointment or refill! Do not wait until it's too late.

🎆 Take your dog for a long walk before the fireworks start to help expend energy and reduce anxiety.

🎆 Keep your pets securely indoors and play calming music. You may want to offer comforting items and distracting toys, like a frozen Kong, to help your pet remain calm.

🎆 If your pet is very anxious, consider staying home or having someone stay with your pet to provide comfort and ensure that they stay safe.

🎆 Keep your pet away from sparklers, fireworks, and any potentially dangerous or toxic items.
