Chemistry panels help assess your cat's health along with other routine wellness exams. They're best known for evaluating how healthy organs such as the liver, kidneys, and pancreas function. Early signs of liver and kidney disease and diabetes can be detected through this test. A urine sample is also recommended for a thorough check to get a complete picture of your cat's health. Have you scheduled your pet's routine wellness exam? Contact us at 778-210-1883.

The Mexican state of Chihuahua is the namesake of this intelligent and athletic breed of dogs. The modern Chihuahua is believed to be a cross between the ancient central and South American Techichi and a small hairless dog from Asia. Did you know that there are even images of dogs resembling Chihuahuas on artifacts of civilizations across the globe?🐕 Looking for more fun facts and how to care for your pup properly? Here's a fun fact! The secret of a dog’s night vision that allows them to see better than humans in low light situations is a large number of light-sensitive rods found in the retina that collect light. The dog’s rod-dominant retina collects this light and using a thin tissue behind the retina called the tapetum lucidum amplifies and reflects the light back to the camera-like lens, which focuses on what the dog is looking at.
