This was Bowie’s first week out on the trails, he fits right in. He confidently glides along the trail and moves with the other dogs, he’s packed in . He checks in with me when I ask him to, check-in’s are important. Dogs on the trail can get kicked into their prey drive by all smells and movement, lizards darting around, deer moving in the brush , coyote 💩 and markings are everywhere so we practice checking in.

This week was hot, so we stuck around grassy areas to keep our paws cool and drank plenty of water.
