-Hakeem is a 6 year old Olde English Bulldog.
-His birthday is August
-I’ve had him since he was a puppy.
-he is a high energy dog since he was a puppy and he loves to be rubbed and have butt scratches.
-he is kennel trained since he was a puppy.
-he is NOT fully potty trained.
-he is neutered.
-he does fine around children. He does get anxious around my daughter when she is making a lot of noise/gets chaotic. Then he is put in a space to have time to himself
-his behaviors are wining and barking. He also barks when he is outside. He wines when he wants my attention.
-He is diagnosed with atopic dermatitis. He has two scheduled medications that cost $200 monthly. He has topical medications as needed. He has flare ups from his allergies that can make him quite sick.
-He has played with other dogs before but he has not been socialized that much. We have also taken him to dog park and he did fine there. -With cats, his hairs stand up but he has lived with my mom's cat for 6 months.

Ethel found her person!! 😁

Ethel is 5, a 70 lb olde english bulldog, and loves to be loved. Shes either cuddling with her person, chewing her bene bone, or sleeping. She loves to ride in the car and shes a couch potato. She loves to stand half in and half out of her doggy door hunting lizards when we're in Arizona. (Im in MN for the summer)

I have to find her a new home for a couple reasons.

1) I am 70 and recently fell down a flight of stairs which has cause issues with balance and have a severe concussion. That recovery time is anywhere from six months to a year.

2) she shows signs of food aggression with other dogs. Everything can be fine and then suddenly she's not happy with the other dog and wants their food. Im now at risk of significant injury if i try to separate them. We just want her to have a happy stress free life.

Ethel lived with a breeder until she retired at age 4. She produced 3 litters :). I adopted her a little over a year ago.

Cats - unknown, unlikely
Kids - absolutely loves playing with kids, unsure about babies and young todlers
Location - Andover, mn
happy to work facilitate a transfer to the perfect home within the 5 state area
Exercise requirements - none but willing to go for a walk

I was called about a little gal this morning who needs to find her new family, so please share. She is half English Bulldog & half French Bulldog. I was told she is used to and good with small kids, but in my opinion she needs strong leadership so would do best in a family with older kids or no kids. The note below is from her person.

Like: to run and play! She loves all her toys! She loves to play catch and go on walks! She loves attention and sleep!
Dislikes: older smaller male dog. She does well with our smaller female dog. She doesn't like laying on her back :) haha.

She would thrive in an environment where she is loved and cared for and who has no dogs or dogs who are bigger than her.
