We are excited to announce our next K9 Scent Games trial! The trial will be on Saturday, March 29th at the National Guard Armory in Gallatin, Tennessee. We will be offering Novice and Advanced levels. Please note that this is a one day only trial. Our judge will be Diane Goff. Entries open on Monday, January 20th. Hey Sniffer Friends! If you are not trialing on November 23 or 24, I have a great opportunity for you to continue to satisfy your nose work needs and to also support our local NACSW host and all of the competitors trialing at her trial. Megan Hundley, Dogs Have Amazing Noses, is hosting an NW3/Elite trial in Smyrna, TN on the 23rd and 24th. We are so fortunate to have Megan in our area providing many great sniffy experiences: training, seminars and NACSW trials! As you know, it takes a lot of volunteers to make a trial run efficiently. If you have never volunteered at a trial, it is a lot of fun and you can learn a lot. It does not require any experience and there will be someone available to tell/show you your job and answer any questions. Please help Megan if you can…… let’s support these nose work activities! Guess what Finn has planned for September…....trialing at the KSG Premier trial that the Crew is hosting in Gallatin, TN on Friday, September 6! We are exited to be offering this Premier only trial! Cindy Martin will be judging for us. There are three ways to participate:

1. Dogs with overall Excellent titles qualify.

2. Dogs who have Excellent Interiors and Excellent Exteriors titles can compete and accumulate points toward Premier titles but can not actually earn a title until they have completed their Overall Excellent title.

3. Dogs who do not qualify but whose handlers would like to try the Premier searches and run them For Exhibition Only (FEO).

THIS SHOULD BE FUN!

You can find more information about the Premier level in the KSG Rulebook at k9scent games.net. We hope to get a Premium out for this trial in a couple of weeks.

We just wanted to share some more info with you about the August trial while we are finalizing the premium.

We will be offering:

Saturday morning: Novice: Containers, Fast Finds 1, Fast Finds 2, Interiors, and Solo

Saturday afternoon: Advanced: Containers 1, Containers 2, Fast Finds, Interiors, and Solo

Sunday Morning: Advanced: Containers, Fast Finds 1, Fast Finds 2, Interiors, and Solo

Sunday Afternoon: Excellent: Containers, Fast Finds,, Interiors 1, Interiors 2 and Solo

We will not be offering: SITs or Exteriors.

We will offer indoor crating and overnight RV Parking (no hookups).

The premium will be posted soon. Hope to see you in August!

We are excited to announce our next K-9 Scent Games trial! The trial will be August 17th & 18th in Murfreesboro, TN, at the Tennessee National Guard Armory. There will be climate-controlled indoor crating available. The levels offered are currently to be determined. Stay tuned for more details as they become available. Come join us for our spring NASDA trial March 9-10, 2024, at Whispering Pines Camp in Castalian Springs, TN. Our judge is Beckie Bowers. We will have three trials per day. Classes offered- Shed Dog, Urban Locating, Trailing/Locating, Lost Items & Brace. All classes- Levels I, II, III & MC. Entries open January 24th.
