These are the words from a veterinarian with a heart. We are desperately looking for a loving home for this sweet girl Dodge 10 years of age 60 pounds dog friendly children friendly!! Please!!!!!

Let’s show this amazing dog and more importantly this amazing veterinarian that did not euthanize this dog regardless what the owner wanted!!! Please read each and every word and if you can be of any assistance please reach out this is urgent thank you.
 Senior, 60lbs, female spayed Rhodesian mix, Great with other dogs and kids, happy to just lay around.

Presented to me for euthanasia.
Owner was unable to afford an exam or euthanasia, however an exam was performed, and it was as found that Dodge had a mild case of vestibular disease. A very treatable, self limiting issue.

See DVM communication below:

“On evaluation is was noted that Dodge had a case of mild vestibular disease (vertigo). This causes a head tilt and nausea. She was happy and wagging her tail. It soon became apparent through communication with her owner, that the request for euthanasia was convenience based. Her owner expressed to me that she doesn’t want to “deal with this” as she is going on vacation. Upon my declination to euthanize Dodge, her owner became combative, yelling at me “are you going to kill my fu***ng dog or not? I don’t have time for this. My friends are in town.”

I offered to send Dodge home with free medication. I also offered her the option to take Dodge to the humane society, who will likely euthanize her, however I reserve the right to decline the service of euthanasia. Her owner became increasingly aggressive and relinquished her rights to Dodge”
