Big boy I miss you and your sister every day. We were so lucky to be able to own Poo kids and you both became so very much loved by us all. I only hope that one day we meet again.
Slight problem....there were 3 Boris's.....forgive me but I couldn't help myself. All of you were amazing

I Loved You Best

So this is where we part, My Friend,
And you'll run on, around the bend.
Gone from sight, but not from mind,
new pleasures there you'll surely find.

I will go on; I'll find the strength,
Life measures quality, not its length.
One long embrace before you leave,
Share one last look, before I grieve.

There are others, that much is true,
But they be they, and they aren't you.
And I, fair, impartial, or so I thought,
Will remember well all you've taught.

Your place I'll hold, you will be missed,
The fur I stroked, the nose I kissed.
And as you journey to your final rest,
Take with you this...I loved you best.

This was taken in February, little did I know that Mr B would be gone by June :( He tried so hard to stay, almost a walk.

You can see how Beno, an entire 4 year old male, just steps in to help Boris (another entire male) by supporting his head as he tries to balance. Beno showed no fear and did this many times, Boris was able to hold his head up then and by rocking the ball back and forth he did not overbalance. Beno deserves a physiotherapy degree!

How great does Turbo look on our new peanut ball?

One of our generous donors Karin used the peanut ball on her Rottweiler Boris to help strengthen his hind legs. Sadly Boris has passed away and Karin has generously donated the ball to the dogs in our Adoption Centre.

Turbo is recovering from a fractured pelvis and the peanut ball is helping with his rehabilitation. Some of our Adoption Centre staff have recently attended a Canine Rehabilitation course and now have new skills in rehabilitating Adoption Centre dogs post surgery. The peanut ball will definitely help them implement their new skills. Thanks Karin!
