Katie is the perfect mix of action and affection. Whether she’s chasing a frisbee, tagging along on a jog, or championing a tug-of-war game, Katie plays with joy and enthusiasm that’s contagious! 🐶 And when the excitement winds down? She’s a world-class snuggler who melts into couch cuddles, soaking up every ounce of love and giving it right back 💕
Trained by professionals who work with high-drive dogs, Katie is a smart girl who knows sit, stay, down, come, drop it, and more! Her “heel” might wobble a bit when she’s excited, but she’s eager to please and loves structure and positive reinforcement. Her favorite things include tough chew toys, bones, and ice cream trips to McDonald’s 🍦
Katie is great with children—including toddlers—and is incredibly gentle with the tiny humans in her life. Because of a traumatic past experience, she needs to be the only animal in the home. While she can pass dogs from a safe distance, she is reactive towards them. This is why Katie needs a patient and understanding family 💗
Crate-trained, house-trained, healthy, microchipped, spayed, and up to date on vaccines—Katie is ready for her next chapter. She thrives on attention and activity, so a family who’s around often and can keep her engaged would be perfect!
