Howie is the cutest 2-year-old Shih-Tzu you will ever see! He has been a regular camper for the past few years and is every small dog's best friend. Howie HAS to have his daily treat or he will not leave you alone until he gets it... He will follow you around - giving you the most adorable little puppy dog eyes - until you drop everything to give him a treat! Howie loves to be up high - either being held, or climbing to the top of the play sets - so that he can have the best views of the yard. He doesn't want to miss a thing! Howie is an active little guy always zooming around putting a smile on the counselor's faces with his quirky, delightful ways.

We are SO excited for next week's ENRICHMENT ACTIVITY! It's supposed to be a hot one - so we're breaking out the sprinklers (our guests LOVE that!)! Your pup will frolic and play in the cool water, and then enjoy a delicious FROSTY PAW SUNDAE! Take home mini-towel and sunglasses included! Yippeeee! We can hardly wait!

Tuck-in's are special times. The dogs are tired after a full day of fun; their little bellies full. Glenda (or the manager on duty) strolls through the resort and checks on each pet to make sure they're comfortable - sometimes adjusting their bedding, making sure they have their favorite toys, and giving good-night kisses.

Currently we have three available positions – one with your name on it! 1. Certified Dog Stylist: Are you an experienced dog groomer? We offer a competitive salary plus commission! Full time employees may be eligible for access to company sponsored medical, vision, and dental insurance, company paid life and long-term disability insurance, and paid time off. We provide all grooming equipment – all you have to do is show up with a FURRMAZING attitude and start stylin’! 2. Bather/Brushers: No experience? No problem! We will train you! We are looking for both part-time and full-time bathers and brushers. This position offers a base pay of $13 - $15 per hour, plus weekend bonus pay, and the opportunity to enroll in company benefits for full time employment. If desired, we will help you take your career to the next level by enrolling you in the Paragon School of Pet Grooming! 3. Grooming Manager: Do you have management experience? Better yet, do you also have grooming experience? Then this could be the job for you! As a grooming manager, you would be responsible for customer service, quality control of services provided, maintaining growth revenue, and enthusiastic team coaching. This position offers competitive pay and opportunities for additional compensation based on grooming services rendered. To say that GOOSE enjoyed his St. Patrick's Day Enrichment activity would be an understatement!🍀

CHAPPIE, COASTAL, and ATLAS (and of course, their owners - our awesome Dog Trainers, Dickie, Melaina, and Zach) entertained onlookers Saturday at the Henrico Humane Society Pet Expo! The smart and talented pups demonstrated their obedience, attentiveness, friendliness, and super cuteness! We are so proud of them!

This past weekend's Pack Walk at Byrd Park was PAW-some! THANKS to all that attended! We hope you can join our Trainers for our next Pack Walk on March 4th at Deep Run Park!
