When we're not running around and having fun, we're focused on keeping every pup in our care safe and happy 🥰 Our policies are designed to create the best possible environment for all of our friends at doggie daycare:

1) All dogs are required to have up-to-date vaccinations for rabies, distemper, and Bordetella. This is a must for the health and safety of every pup in our pack.

2) All dogs must be flea and tick-free and on current preventatives.

3) To ensure a calm and well-mannered environment, all dogs are required to be spayed or neutered unless they are under 18 months of age.

4) All dogs must be both crate-trained and potty-trained. This helps us ensure a smooth, comfortable day for your dog and a clean environment for everyone.

5) All dogs must be 6 months of age or older to join the fun.

6) Your dog must exhibit friendly, non-aggressive behavior toward other dogs and people. This helps us create a safe and stress-free environment for all.

We had the honor of being Kenny's wedding pet attendant for his parents' gorgeous outdoor ceremony 🌿at Flushing Valley Golf Club, Sports Bar and Banquet Center

Kenny was such a happy, well-behaved dog of honor who elegantly walked down the aisle with his Uncle Jonah on the big day (it took a few practice rounds at rehearsal because he was so excited! 😆🥰)

What an absolute pleasure it was to make Aubree & Seamus's big day even more special by including Kenny 🐾

Does your dog always grab a toy or slipper when they greet you or a guest coming into your home? 🤔 For our dog, Fluke, it's usually our socks 😂

This is called displacement behavior! 🐾 These behaviors occur when a dog has immense feelings and chooses to put those feelings into an out-of-context behavior 🥹

In other words, when you return home, your dog is likely experiencing a surge of excitement and anticipation 🥳So, presenting you with a toy can be their way of channeling this energy and expressing their joy in a controlled manner 🤗

Displacement behavior is usually harmless and often a sign of a strong bond between you and your dog 🐕 Understanding these behaviors can help you foster a deeper connection with your furry friend and create a happier home for both of you!! 🥰

One of our local vet clinics, Veterinary Medical Hospital, has an angel fund which is used to help people in our community financially when their pet is in need and they can't afford vet care. The need is always great! Please share 🙏🏼
