A Cockapoo is a mix of a Cocker Spaniel and a Poodle resulting in a small, low to non-shedding, low to non-allergenic puppy that is highly intelligent with an excellent personality. Mavis decided to chase our Guinea hens and somehow ended up with a broken toe! We started our morning off with a trip to the vet and she now has a splint that I have to keep dry so I'm putting a bag over it when we go outside 🙈 I always suggest to pet owners to keep an emergency $$ fund for those unexpected ER trips.

Twelve years ago we left for the day to deliver a puppy to a family in Chicago and when we came home I went to the barn to feed my horse. Sitting in his stall was a tiny orange kitten we later named Cinnamon. (It's very common when you live on a farm for animals to randomly get dumped off at your place.) She's been a great addition to our family, and as you can see by the pictures, she is very helpful in getting the puppies used to life with a cat!
