Cat Crusaders Feline Rescue Our mission is to rescue and adopt abused, hoarded, neglected, injured and special needs cats and provide them a safe sanctuary. How can you help?

Welcome to Cat Crusaders Feline Rescue's page! Our mission is to rescue and adopt abused, hoarded, neglected, injured and special needs cats and provide them a safe sanctuary where they can spend their lives being loved and spoiled. Our felines have come from rough beginnings: thrown away, abused, dumped, forgotten, neglected. Our special needs cats range from felines with asthma, feline

cognitive dysfunction (often referred to as kitty's Alzheimer's), feline herpesvirus, stomatitis, issues from being abused, and other conditions. None of these conditions make these felines any less worthy of love or of having a happy home and happy life. This is what Cat Crusaders Feline Rescue provides. We are always in need of cat supplies! We have a wish list on Amazon.com. You can contribute via Paypal for the unending vet bills and medications, and gift cards are always welcome- we scour stores for pet supplies on sale, markdown or clearance. Thank you for your support whether by following our page, your positive and supportive comments, and/or your donations. Your support allows us to continue to rescue and provide for our fur family, and for that we are fur-ever grateful!!

Fiona is curious about what these spray bottles are for. They are for everything! We use them to clean, to mist our plants, to spray in hard to clean areas, and all sorts of other things. We received three boxes of these for Amazon Prime Days, and we use all nine bottles! Big thanks to Jeannie, Jan, and Rosanne-these spray bottles are pawsome!

Day 2 of Amazon Prime goodies!

Don't let the scowl on Daffodil's face fool you-she's giving "the look" to the human in an attempt to get her to open all the Friskies Fish-A-Liscious that we received.

Special thanks to Traci, Rosanne, Allison, Kimberly S, and Kimberly H. Dinner is served!

Those who follow our page know that we do our best to post donations in the order that we receive them. Today we're starting on donations from all the way back in July!! We had SO many incredible donations from Amazon's Prime Days that we grouped items together.

PJ, Traci, Jan, Kimberly C, Kimberley L, Pam M, Pam P, and Allison each sent us a box of Tidy Cats Litter, which we use in our litter boxes that are in the cattery. We still have two boxes left! Thank all of you so much! By the time we go through our last box, we will have gone eight months without needing to buy more litter, which has allowed us to spend funds on other needed items.

Kip is feeling especially photogenic today, and smiled big for the camera for everyone to see how much he's grown since we rescued him and his brother in 2023. Looking at him now, it's hard to believe he and Kye were incredibly sick kittens when we brought them home. You wouldn't know by looking at them now!

It's been another busy week for us as we prepare for the next winter blast set to hit our area-it's going to be much more harsh than the last one. Yikes!! We have a couple more things to do to make sure our felines will be warm and snuggly. Elliott says he's ready, thanks to our lovely friend Pam, who sent us $50 for HER birthday! We used the money to put towards a case of Elliott's prescription canned food, which costs $80 per month. Double yikes!!

Pam has celebrated the past several of her birthdays by donating money to our rescue, and we feel so incredibly lucky to be a part of her generosity. Thank you so, so much, Pam!

If Scout's smile doesn't melt your heart, we don't know what will! He's excited about the pump that Barbara sent for the water fountains for our felines. The cat crew loves their fresh fountain water!

Barbara, thank you for bringing a smile to Scout's face and for the pump for our water fountains. It will be used every day!

Hello everyone! We'll get back to posting donations in the next couple of days, but we had to take a moment to thank everyone who recently sent blankets for our cat crew. They were desperately needed!

Tonight is predicted to be the coldest so far, and with the blankets we received, our kitties are bundled up, cozy and warm. Khan and the cat crew say, "Thank mew!".

Brrrrr! It's freezing here, temps are not expected to get above 40 degrees this week, and we may get snow on Thursday and Friday. Our cat crew is NOT happy that they will be stuck inside all week!

We have some help, though. Along with this case of Friskies Indoor Chicken and Turkey Casserole, Jeannie sent a box of Churu Cat Treats. Our cats loooooove these, and Gandalf is waiting for the human to open the box!

Thank you for providing yummies for our kitties, Jeannie! It's going to be a very long week, but these goodies will help to keep them occupied!

The last week of 2024 was incredibly busy for us! Tornado watches, severe storms, and Goliath the giant mouse has returned to our carport and is nesting in the engines of the human's car and lawnmower. The nests have been removed, car and mower parked elsewhere, and we hope that Goliath will move on once again.

Yesterday we spent the day taking down Christmas decorations-and there wasn't much left of the tree to take down. Within a couple of days, our cat crew had the garland strewn about, decorations relocated on the floor, and they managed to even knock the tree topper off. We're not saying Sadie was one of the culprits, but she does seem to have quite a look of satisfaction on her face.

As 2024 draws to a close, we can't help but think of all the blessings that you all have bestowed on us. It was a rough year-the human lost her job in February and was unemployed for ten months. But our friends and supporters rallied around us and sent supplies for us to ensure our cats were taken care of. We lost our beloved Pretzel to cancer this year, and when a cat was dumped at our place, we couldn't turn him away-and Panther became an official part of our family. At this moment, our brain-damaged Khan is very ill, and he will be seen on Thursday when our vet's office opens again.

We want to thank each and every one of you for your support through the challenges we faced this year-and in years past. Without our friends and supporters, we wouldn't be where we are today-and we are so grateful. We wish you all a phenomenal 2025 and look forward to posting more pictures of our cat crew and sharing their shenanigans with all of you.

Merry Christmas from Bunny, the cat crew, and Melanie! Wishing you all a day filled with blessings!

For quite some time, the pumps to our water fountains were giving out rather quickly, and we couldn't figure out why. Then we found the problem - or rather the culprit. It turns out Journey was chewing on the cords! We found a solution though - we now have the cardboard of paper towel rolls slid over the bottom of the cord where Journey can no longer get to it. We always have some sort of hijinks going on!

Jeannie sent a replacement pump to us, and we set it down only long enough to take a picture before Journey got to it! Thank you so much for the pump, Jeannie - it's something we REALLY needed!

Those who follow our page know that we recently had a serious catnip situation (giggle, giggle). It looks like there may be another occurrence thanks to the TWO canisters of catnip that we received from Cynthia. Take a look at Nikita's face-she's already plotting!

Thank you very much for what we know is going to be a VERY good time for our cat crew, Cynthia!

Uh oh.......the human failed to take a picture of a donation we received, and it is currently in use. Barbara sent us a box of Slide litter, and we've already recycled the cardboard box, so we can't even take a picture of that. Taking a photo of one of our litter boxes wouldn't exactly be pleasant, so we decided to post some cuteness today.

Our mischievous Jypsy somehow managed to pry open the doors to the human's wardrobe, and made herself a little cozy spot right in the middle of the human's winter clothing. It's so adorable we couldn't bear to make her move.

Barbara, our apologies for the forgetfulness-but we are very appreciative of the Slide litter you sent to us!

MOM!!!!! When do we get to open presents?

-Phoebe

Today is the day! It's our purr-thday party! We'll be opening gifts in just a bit, but we want to give a HUGE thank you to everyone for thinking of our cat crew and celebrating with us, even though it may be across the miles.

We'll reach out individually within a couple of days to thank those who sent a surprise (or ten!) to us-we've had some delivery issues and want to make sure we don't miss expressing our gratitude to each of you. We are so thankful for everyone's support.

The human wakes up every morning to the sound of our felines romping around the house, but yesterday morning was strangely quiet. Headed to the other side of the house to investigate, the culprit was discovered - a canister of catnip that had been pried open, spread across the kitchen floor, and around two dozen kitties in catnip heaven.

Jean, to say our cats loved your gift is an understatement. Thank you for providing hours of entertainment for our cat crew. The human had to spend extra time cleaning the kitchen floor, but it was totally worth it.

Last week was super-busy for us! We decorated for Christmas, we're getting ready for our annual purr-thday party this Saturday, we have three sick kitties, and Panther to get fixed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Great news-he tested negative for FIV and FELV! He is now officially a part of our cat crew, and we are slowly introducing him to his new brothers and sisters.

We thought we'd start Monday off with a lot of litter-TEN boxes of litter, sent to us by our friend Barbara. We can never have too much litter! Rocky says, "Thank you, Barbara-we use this every day-several times a day!"

Onyx is super - excited about the four bags of Purina Gentle Formula and case of Fancy Feast Seafood canned food sent to our cat crew by Vickie. She makes sure our felines have plenty of dry kibble so they will be healthy and happy. Thank you so much, Vickie!

Wahooooooooooo! Guess what everybody? We're getting ready for our annual purr-thday party next month-and I couldn't be more excited!

We normally have our party the first weekend of December, but the human says we have to wait until the second weekend of December because Panther will be quarantined until around the 11th or 12th. So our party this year will be on Saturday, December 14th. Who wants to celebrate with us? We'd love to see you!
