Saskatoon Retriever Club Hunt test did not disappoint. With some of the best dogs and handlers in the Prairies, the competition was FIERCE. We are very proud of our girls. Brook got 1 Master Pass and Dawn got 2 passes this weekend. This puts Brook at 4/5 and Dawn at 3/5 to be titled as a Master Hunter.

Quick 3 week Puppy Update.

Getting so big, finding their voices and learning to play. They will be moving into bigger space and starting real food. Tried to expose a piece of their colour of collar to identify them.

We were asked to be in the June edition of “Neighbours of Lumsden & Regina Beach”. It was a fun opportunity to have a little photo shoot with the dogs and have an article written about our family and Valley Ridge Retrievers.

This is a damn shame 😞 Breeders will have a tough time selling pups south of the border.

Starting on August 1, all dogs entering the U.S. (including those that left the U.S. and are returning, and regardless of the country they are coming from) must be:
• healthy upon arrival
• at least 6 months of age
• microchipped
• accompanied by a CDC Dog Import Form receipt and required vaccination and veterinary documents.

Additional requirements may apply depending on where the dog has been in the last 6 months and whether or not the dog was vaccinated in the United States.

Brook has had a wonderful Season running Field Trials. She got a 4th, a CM and a 1st earning her the title FIELD TRIAL CHAMPION!!! Reflecting on her short and success Field Trial career reminds us how special she truly is. We are so proud of her!

We would like to thank Colin McNicol and Carey Petersen at Windy River Retrievers for all his hard work running and training her. He truly is a talented trainer.

Tall Pines Retriever Club is proud of our new National Amateur Retriever Champion. NAFC FC Braver Run’s Raymond For Sheriff. We could not be prouder of Bert and Leigh Windham for a phenomenal week. Leigh did us proud as well with Zeke being a finalist. In addition a big shout out to club member Chad Griffin for being the breeder of Raymond and his litter mates.
