We do our very best to post happy stories and updates, but unfortunately sometimes we need to post the ones that pull your heart strings too.
Mojo was expected to be someone he wasn't in his past life and he was made to live in less than desirable conditions. Everything he has been through has taken a toll on his health. He has a neurological condition that buckles his front feet and makes his rear legs weak and he takes thyroid medication.
Mojo is declining rapidly here in the shelter... in a kennel.
Despite numerous vet visits, holistic remedies, lunch dates with the staff and comfy beds with endless amounts of love - there's something we just can't give Mojo. It's the absolute most important too!
A home. A hospice home - even a foster home will do. Rescue? YES please!
Here comes the reason why Mojo has been here with us for so long.
He is almost 9 years old, needs to be the only animal in the home and he has health issues. IF you can look past him not being a cute little puppy (which he once was) or having to take medications 2x a day (which he takes like a CHAMP) or his skin looking like he just got a bad haircut, him acting a fool in front of furry company or the fact that he's pushing 90lbs... he is the bestest good boi you will ever meet!
If you're lonely, remember that he gives better snuggles than any boi we've ever met.
If you like sleeping with a little background noise - Mojo JoJo will provide you with faint sounds of a chainsaw trying to start that may be running out of gas.
Speaking of gas - you will NEVER run out with a Mojo in your home. He's a professional toot tooter.
A+ riding in the car, taking walks and doing potty outside.
Let's not let Mojo spend another Christmas homeless - he already has his bags packed and he's waiting...
