Kitten shower tickets are going fast and the event is just a few weeks away! If you don’t have your tickets for our AoA Annual Kitten Shower then the time to call is right meow! A note from Darcy…
Hello Rescue Organizations,
My name is Darcy Del Castillo. I am the shelter manager for the brand new Jersey City Animal Care and Control.
I am reaching to all local 501c(3) rescue organizations. Our goal is to get the animals of Jersey City off the streets, out of bad situations, out of the shelter and help provide a safe landing for them as fast as possible.
To do this, we need the help and commitment of our RESCUE PARTNERS!
JCACC will evaluate each animal, vaccinate, and provide a space for you to come and evaluate the animals you choose to pull for your rescue. There will be no charge/fee for taking an animal. Our shelter staff will help facilitate a rescue pull as much as possible.
Additionally, your rescue will be acknowledged and thanked in our posts as a Rescue Partner should you pull an animal for us.
If your rescue organization would like to be considered as a JCACC Rescue Partner please email me! Feel free pass this along to other rescue organizations you may think would be interested.

Seeking rescue organizations that can help take a coupe guinea pigs. There were 30, we’ve managed to get the numbers down to 4 females/9 males. If any rescue can take in a couple please pm/dm me. They are all 9 months to 1 year old.

Friends, we are in danger of having to cancel our spring event - the one that covers all of our veterinary bills and allows us to rescue throughout kitten season. We already have kittens on the way! If we don't meet the minimum ticket sales this weekend, we will be forced to cancel our event, which means we will have to close to new intakes for now. Please help us by coming to this fun event! Tickets are on sale now for $60, which includes dinner and live entertainment by Swingman and the Misfit Mutts Band. Fabulous raffles...delicious food...music and dancing...and our spring super 50/50! Call 973-826-0506 to reserve your event or 50/50 tickets!

FAQ:

*What it the Kitten Cotillion?
It's a fun night of dining, music, and prizes to benefit our Veterinary Care Fund and help us provide lifesaving care to kittens, moms, and medically vulnerable strays. Without these funds, our spring kitten program will be extremely limited.

*Do I need to bring a date?
NO!!!! This is a fun night out for everyone and not a "couples" event, although couples will have fun too!

*What kind of raffles will you have?
We have our amazing 50/50 raffle and tickets are on sale now for $10 each or a book of 5 for $50. You do not need to be present to win, and we can take your order right over the phone, so call for tickets and help us raise some much-needed funds. We will also have raffles at the event for valuable prizes, including a Cricut machine with accessories, gift card bouquet, amazing baskets, and so much more!

*What about the kitten wishing well?
We are asking everyone who would like to donate supplies to shop our wishlist at tinyurl.com/kittenwish, and your supply donations will be shipped directly to us.

*Will I have fun and save lives?
