At Pangea Reptile, we believe in taking care of the people who take care of our customers. This Labor Day, we’re showing our appreciation for our hardworking team by giving them a well-deserved break.

Our employees will be clocking out early on Friday, August 29 at 1 PM EST to enjoy our Employee Appreciation Party. Operations will pause at that time to give our team time to have fun and relax. We’ll be back and ready to help on Tuesday morning.

Here’s what that means for you:

- Orders that have not shipped after 1 PM EST on Friday 8/29 will not ship until Tuesday 9/2 at the earliest

- Overnight shipping will be temporarily unavailable starting Friday morning

- Our customer service team will also be offline during this time

If you reach out to us over the weekend, please know we’ll get back to you as soon as we can once we return.

Pangea would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the National Park Service for their ongoing efforts to protect and preserve our nation’s wildlife.

To celebrate National Park Service Day, we’re highlighting five amazing reptiles and amphibians that call national parks home: the common garter snake, painted turtle, five-lined skink, spotted salamander, and American bullfrog. These species are just a few examples of the incredible biodiversity thriving in our protected lands.

National Park Service Day honors the conservation and preservation of these incredible places. Each park shelters roughly 415 species of wildlife on average, with many parks supporting even more. These protected lands also provide critical habitat for over 600 endangered and threatened species safeguarded by the Endangered Species Act.

You can support these vital efforts by participating in volunteer events, donating to organizations like the National Park Foundation, advocating for funding to protect and preserve national parks, and following Leave No Trace principles while visiting!

Owner Matthew Parks started Pangea Reptile LLC in 2001 with the breeding of geckos and small-scale sale of dry goods. Several years later we have now grown into one of the largest online sellers of reptile food, products, and quality geckos. We are constantly growing and expanding our line of products and services to meet our customer needs.

But the real story behind every one of Pangea Reptile LLC’s products and specimens is the spirit of discovery that Matt experienced on his first chance encounter with a crested gecko. This spark of wonder woven through our business makes us strive to be innovators over salesmen, scientists instead of staff, and craftsmen rather than breeders.
