We are helping a young family rehome their dog Hugo. He’s a very well behaved 5 year old. Desexed and up to date with vaccinations and worming. He is being rehomed due to a change in the families circumstances. They are wanting the very best home for him, where he can get the attention he deserves.

Hugo was bred by Alexa Mackenzie from Cambrae Border Collies. She is no longer with us, so I am assisting with this rehoming.

We have a young female available to a new home. Pet home prefered, but I may consider a breeding home. She won’t make much of a show dog, so is not available to a serious show home.

She is a little bit dominant in temperament, but she gets along with everyone here. Any home considering her, will need to take into account their own pack dynamics, by introducing a girl who has the desire to be the boss.

She is 11 months old. And ready to go whenever. I’m only placing her because she doesn’t meet my standards. She may be good for someone starting out or wanting to add a new bloodline. She has a great pedigree.

The Border Collie Club of South Australia Inc Championship Show held on the 4th May. My one and only entry was Storm - Wynnlake Storm In A Teacup, wearing her bikini.

We were thrilled to walk away with Australian Bred in Show under Mrs Sue Chaytor (NZ)

Some of our beautiful babies will be heading off to their new homes this weekend. We wish their new owners all the best with their puppies. I’ve had a great time this week making up puppy packs. Full of goodies to take home with their puppies. It’s always a sad time as a breeder, but we know they are going to wonderful homes and will have amazing lives.

From 4 weeks the pups are introduced to something new every day. Friday they were moved to their outdoor area and given a toy tower to play with, yesterday they met lots of new people and were introduced to crates. Today they get the full toddler experience 🤯 their little brains will be working hard after that one.

A pile of wet babies drying in the warm sun. Miss Maze has been a bit slack with her clean up duties the last couple of days, and I woke up to a messy box of puppies this morning. So first baths were had and I’ve had a chat with Maze to lift her game!

Maze and Riggs are the proud parents of 8 gorgeous babies. At this stage it looks like we have enough homes for all of them, but if you are looking for a puppy, I can refer you to another breeder or place you on the wait list for our next litter later in the year. We are in the last couple of days of pregnancy for Maze. An x-ray yesterday shows we have 8 babies on board. This means we have 1 more place to fill on our wait list. Puppies will all be black and white and we are expecting exceptional temperaments. Both parents have been DNA tested and hip and elbow scored to ensure we are producing the healthiest puppies possible. Please contact me if you’d like to be considered for one of these puppies.

We are in the planning stages of breeding Maze. She will be visiting her boyfriend next week. Puppies are likely to be ready for their new homes in the first week of May 24. Therefore we are taking expressions of interest now. We will only be reserving places on the wait list for 5 families. It’s that time! The puppies are leaving the nest. 3 pups have already gone, 3 more to go this weekend. No dog shows for us.
