There must have been a discussion about Aragoke at one of our fine koi clubs recently. I received 3 calls today asking if we have them. Yes we do. We recently picked up some Nisai Aragoke koi from Ikarashi Ozumi. They measure between 40cm-50cm. They are priced very reasonably at at $400 each. Let me know if you see anything you are interested in.

As our trip comes to an end , a little recap of our time here and the fish coming back home with us. We visited 28 breeders and purchased 1500 koi from 22 of them. The majority of our koi were Nisai but we do have some larger koi and many Tosai coming to sell as well. If you see anything you like let us know. If not enjoy our trip in Japan through our photos.

We had a great day in Japan today going to many great breeders. We were able to procure Goshiki from Iwash*ta and red Kujaku from Kaneko that will be used for the judging seminar at the Atlanta Koi show this year. While we can not show those fish, we can show you some other fish purchased by other customers on this trip from those breeders to give you an idea of the quality these breeders produce. All koi used in the seminar will be available for sale at the Atlanta Koi show at the end of the judging seminar. Make your plans to come to the show to get the first crack at them.

Congratulations to David Gabriel on winning the Tsubaki Award at the 2024 Central Florida Koi Show with this beautiful 100 cm Doitsu Karashigoi procured through The Koi Store. I don’t think she is done growing yet , it is going to have a great future.

We are doing major renovations at the farm revamping all 8 of the mud ponds. Only issue is we have fish in two of them. Solution, Ikeage day. These koi developed well and will be available in 6 weeks. If you see anything you are interested in let us know. Photos were taken straight out of the mud pond.
