Introducing Nova. This guy is the sweetest! He is craving the affection he apparently missed the first few months of his life. As stated in the video, he and several other dogs were dumped in a rural area.

As if that wasn’t bad enough, Nova has severe entropic eyes, along with macroblepharon and keratitis. Imagine feeling like you have something irritating your eyes your whole life. Fortunately we can fix him. He has an appointment with a canine ophthalmology specialist for surgery next week.

However, we are going to have to again ask for financial help to assist with the cost of Nova’s surgery which is estimated to be around $4,000. No amount is too small to donate. Can you help us ease this pup’s suffering?

Tony is a volunteer favorite! This 5 year old anatolian sheppard is waiting so patiently for his new family to bring him home. He's been waiting a year now 😪 His human besties at the shelter can't wait for him to find his perfect family! Tony is loving and playful, but also enjoys being a loaf on the couch. His soulful eyes will captivate you, and you won't be able to say no!

Tony will need to be the only pet in the home. He wants to soak up all your attention! He will require a 4 foot fence, and all members of the home must meet him before finalizing adoption. Tony rarely gets any visitors, and watches his shelter roommates come and go. This boy has no flaws besides wanting to be your one and only. Can we please get some help sharing this post? We know his future family is out there somewhere.

Check out these all stars, Rowen and Buster 🤩

Rowen and Buster have been lucky enough to attend dog training school with one of our volunteers! They respond well to praise and treats, and aim to please their human. These boys are very similar in their personalities, and have been waiting too long to get out of the shelter and find a home of their own.

Rowen is a big boy, about 80 pounds. He is a mastiff mix and a little over a year old. His funniest trait is he requires a toy to carry in his mouth. It's the cutest thing and makes him smile! He'll do best in a home without kids since he is still practicing his manners he learned from training. All he wants is human attention, scratches, and toys galore!

Buster is a chocolate lab mix, about 65 pounds and 5 years old. Buster is also known as Bust-a-Move - this will make total sense when you meet him and see his excited jumps! We think he may be part kangaroo 🦘 He also thrives with human affection, and we can tell he just wants humans to be loyal to.

Both of these boys would be most successful as the only pet. They have done pack walks and done well, so a calm and respectful canine sibling may work out. Any other dogs in the home must meet them before finalizing adoption, and also be up to date on vaccinations and altered. They love being outside next to each other and playing through the fencing! Must have minimum 4 foot fenced in backyard.

Hogan is such a special boy, and has had no applications come in 😪

Hogan is about 1.5 years old at 70 pounds. He is extremely playful with other dogs and would love a canine sibling! We suspect he is pyranese mixed with cattle dog. When he loves a human, he loves them HARD! He lived around cats in the past, so we think he would do well in a home with them. Hogan's only quirk is that he has a particular diet. He will need to be on liver care prescription food. Any other food or treats make him extremely sick. This lovable boy is waiting so patiently for his new best friend(s) to come take him home 💙

Dave is a 6-year-old Akbash with a calm presence and a peaceful soul. He’s been with us for over a year now, quietly waiting for someone to see what a special companion he is.
Dave doesn’t ask for much – just a soft spot to nap, a little sunshine, and someone nearby who loves him. He enjoys the simple pleasures in life: lounging in the yard, relaxing on the couch, and soaking up quiet companionship. He’s not demanding or high-energy, just a gentle giant looking for a home where he can feel safe and loved. (No kids, please.)
Dave does have a wheat allergy, so his new family will need to keep an eye on food labels, but otherwise he’s healthy, low-maintenance, and ready for his forever home. Because he’s been waiting longer than he should, his adoption fee has been reduced to $250 in hopes that the right person will give him the happy ending he deserves.
