Jake and Nate are a bonded pair of young pups, ready to make GREAT additions to a family! They must go to a new home together - we can't fathom splitting these two up! They are easy going, yet playful boys. They were less than 30 minutes from euthanasia at a kill shelter, but we couldn't let that happen and made room for them both. They are not brothers by blood, but have become extremely bonded by fate ❤️

These 2 are the absolute sweetest!! They are goofy as can be (especially Jake the tan boy), and you won't go a minute without smiling when you're around them! They are under 1 year old, and are very trainable and well-tempered. They would make great family pets! We know we are asking a lot to take 2 pups in, but we promise they are worth it. When you adopt 2 pups together, you get 1/2 off the second pup. Can we find them a home this weekend?! They really should be in a home so their new family can start making memories asap ❤️

Introducing Clapton, a 2-3 year old, 72 lb Golden. He was found as a stray and no owner could be found. The property where he was seemingly dumped raised poultry, and Clapton wasn’t their friend.
This guy is a star! Not only is he exceedingly handsome, but he is very smart. He knows sit, shake and down. He’s not perfect; knows how to flip open a gate latch, counter surfs and enjoys getting into the trash! We are confident that the right family can train and handle him just fine. He’s great with older kids, has successfully met other dogs, probably not good with cats. He loves to cuddle and thinks he’s a lap dog.

This cutie pie is Coco. She is a purebred Golden Retriever and came to us from a breeder. She’s about 4 years old, 60 lbs. She may look familiar, as she was with us for a short time and quickly adopted. She initially fit in well with the other family dog, but as she became more comfortable, she decided she should be the only dog in the home, so she’s coming back to find a home where she can be the only princess and not share the attention. Coco is adorable and will make a great companion as an only dog.

Gracie is a beautiful girl with many talents. She’s a 3 year old Great Pyrenees mix. She can catch her favorite treats mid air, sit, walks great on leash, look at you adoringly, can warm your spot on the couch and, unfortunately can climb fences where she can get a foot hold. Due to the fence climbing talent, she will need a 6 foot privacy fence.
High on her wish list is a family where someone can be home with her most of the time. She’s great with kids and might enjoy a compatible canine companion in her new forever home to keep her company.

Surprise! Look what we have! It’s rare that we have a momma with puppies, but we couldn’t resist. They are still at our vet hospital but will eventually be coming to the shelter. We have their room all ready.

The vet staff is calling them Jelly and the Beans. Puppies’ individual names are on their pictures. They are 2-3 weeks old.

The sad story is that pregnant momma was dumped and hid under a porch to have her babies. Two of the original 9 pups did not survive, and Momma and the remaining 7 were not in good condition, but with a lot of great vet care and TLC, they are now thriving.

Momma is a Great Pyrenees, and we will soon be doing a dna test on one of the puppies to determine their mix. What we can tell you is that they are adorable little dumplings. Three males and four females.

While they will not be meeting potential adopters yet, we will be taking advance applications. When the puppies are old enough, qualified adopters can meet them. Momma Jelly is as sweet as can be and will also need a forever home.

Rowen 🐾

This sweet, affectionate boy is a 1-year-old mastiff mix (about 75 lbs) with a heart as big as his paws. We think he might have some Dogue de Bordeaux in him—what’s your guess? (DNA test is on the way!)

Rowen was rescued by a kind neighbor when his previous owner planned to leave him at animal control. Now he’s ready for a forever home! Rowen is in his playful puppy stage, and will likely do best with older children and as the only pet. Rowen is a loving boy that just wants a best friend to share face nibbles with!
