Arlo is still waiting for a foster home or a forever home. He would do best as the only pet. Notice how he never bites the balloon -lol https://allmixedupdogrescue.org/
Adoption update from Remy. This baby came to us from a local shelter and was quickly adopted back in 2019.. Here she is working with the training treat dispenser - she absolutely loves it
Smokie talks to me when I don't throw the ball right away. He gets so excited when it squeaks. Volume up -- he's just such a happy boy who would love a family of his own. He would do best in a country home setting, away from the city noise. https://allmixedupdogrescue.org/available-dogs/
Janice & Angie came up today to spend some time with the kids. Tessa loved the attention
adoption update from Ziva's new mom - Volume Up - Zeva is doing wonderful. She loves to watch TV, which is so funny. She is having fun playing with her new toys. Now to the important announcement! Zeva likes Italian opera and seems to be a virtuoso. Please listen to the attached video. So summarize, Zeva is home💕🐾🐾💕and happy with her new mom. Thank you for making this majic happen💕🐾🐾💕
Pupdate from Sheba - Sheba has been such a joyful addition to our family!! She most definitely is home, she is a great protector !! This fall we had a large bear on our deck looking in at her and she growled but never barked or tried to go after the bear. Then there was a moose family that went thru the yard, she was not sure and just watched them walk by. Now she sits on the picnic table and waits for them and just watches. She plays with our grandson and his puppy a Corgi they are best friends. I think the best was when I was watching a show on puppies, she followed the cries on the tv then went behind the stand to look for them. Was awesome to watch her! I guess to sum it up she is our German Shepard and very much loved
Angel came into rescue in 2019 and was quickly adopted. Here she is out enjoying the snow.
Arlo went to his new foster home yesterday and it snow. First time this boy's ever seen the white stuff and he's not to sure about it. However, foster sister Bella is ready to show him how to enjoy it :)
Remember Arlo - the owned dog in Mexico who was being neglected? Well he will be coming to the states in just a few more days !!!! He is no longer sick, his hair is growing back, he is lively and playful. Can't wait to meet him
we wanted to share a video with you showing Arlo's progress. This is him at the vets. We hope to have him here in a couple of weeks. I've never rescued a dog in Mexico before :) But thanks to so many great people they made that happen for him and us
November is adopt a senior pet month. Ziva may have the #'s behind her age but she surely isn't ready for retirement. If you are ready for an Active older pup please submit your app - https://allmixedupdogrescue.org/adopt/
Even though Ziva is a senior she has more energy than some younger dogs. She is always up for a car ride, hike, walk, pretty much anything you want to do she will be right by your side. To read more about our precious girl please click on this link - https://allmixedupdogrescue.org/available-dogs/
This is the 2nd dog Duke, who came in with Toby. The photo at the sheriffs office is in the comments - the boy was terrified. He too is having a blast !!!
In 2020 I was notified that an owner dropped 2 of his dogs off at the sheriffs office since this small town did not have a shelter. They were going to put them down in 3 days so we brought both the boys in. Toby was so thin, the owner said the other dogs wouldn't let him eat, reason why he gave him up. Toby lives in the mountains and is having a blast. They are working on getting him to swim :)
we love updates from our adopters but it's always sad to read about them getting older and their bodies starting to slow down. Brock came to us in 2014 when he was found passed out on a ladies front yard, to weak to move. We brought him into rescue, fixed him up and found a wonderful family,. -- It's been a pretty rough year for Brock Lee. He's between 10-11 years old now and it's really showing. He still has the energy and curiosity of a puppy, but his body is failing him. It's so sad to see. So we're just taking it easy and enjoying what time we have left with him. He's such a kind, sweet, goofy boy and it's heartbreaking because his spirit could go on another 10 years at least.
Pupdate - Selena now named Olive came to us last year from texas. She was a puppy forced to live outside and sadly contacted mange. We brought her up - fixed her up and found her an amazing home. Her foster mom was able to go visit her and took this video - she is a happy girl and so much loved. I included a copy of her shelter pic and how she looks today in the comments.
showing off one of our adopted pups. Loki was another scared baby at an over crowed Texas shelter, pressing up against the wall crying. Now he is running the arena with mom :)
