The horses are all bundled up and ready for the cold this week! Most importantly though they have big barns to go into to get out of the wind and snow and the most important part is HAY! If they have plenty of food in front of them that is the best way for them to stay warm ❤️ we hope you all stay warm this week! All the goats, pigs, and cows got fresh straw in their barns/stalls as well!!

Miss Butterscotch had her babies today! Twins and she really must’ve heard us saying we wanted a baby with more color! Teddy (brown and white baby) is a precious little girl. 💗💖 Graham (little white baby) is a sweet little boy 🩵💙 Momma is doing great and so are the babies 🥰

Unfortunately we lost another baby today. Waffles had a baby and it didn’t make it. 🕊️😢I couldn’t tell if it was a girl or boy either unfortunately. Waffles is doing good thankfully and we have 6 other healthy babies still doing really good. This is the part of farming that just sucks but it makes the good parts that much better ❤️ here is waffles with her baby Nancy from last year that we still have.

Since I share all of the good and exciting parts of farming I want to share the bad too. Unfortunately Cupcake (grey and white doe in the picture) lost her baby this morning. Not sure if she was still born or died shortly after being born but she was gone when I found her. 💔😢 A sweet little girl all white.🕊️I wish I could save them all but unfortunately that’s not how life works. Cupcake is doing good thankfully.❤️

What a crazy day yesterday was. Oatmeal had two twins a boy and a girl we decided to name the girl marsh and the boy mallow. They are pictured on the left side. Polly Pocket decided to have babies as well twin girls and they are on the right and are now bottle babies because she decided her first birth being twins and mothering them is too much. So miss Sugar and Spice are now our newest bottle babies. We are now up to six babies total! 💗🥹

The newest arrivals here at Pickwick Farms 🐐 these two adorable twins made their arrival this morning sometime! Of course she chose to have them after we just got a lot of snow and cold temperatures to come! ❄️☃️ meet miss pinky pie (aka Pinky) and Mr Jack Frost (aka Frosty). Momma Cookie did amazing 💗
