Labradoodles are one of the most popular and fastest growing hybrid breeds, mostly due to their non-shedding (or very low shedding) fur coat, their hypoallergenic qualities for allergy and asthma sufferers, and their fun, smart and engaging personality. Mojie-Doodles With Love is a high-quality, low output, in-home breeder in Golden, Colorado. We have been raising AKC labradors for the past twenty years. When my twins were born, and developed allergies to dog hair, we naturally fell in love with Labradoodles. We have been breeding Labradoodles in conjunction with another acclaimed breeder, DoodlesWithLove, for the past five years. We breed fleece and loose wool coat Labradoodles, which are the most allergy friendly fur coats.
At Mojie-Doodles With Love, our breeding dogs are our pets, and receive love, attention, walks and playtime every day. They are part of our family, and are given free range in the house and yard, and are very well behaved. We have multiple cats who also play with the dogs and puppies, and can often be seen sleeping in the whelping box or grooming the puppies. We feed our dogs one of the finest dog food available – Taste of the Wild – which is what we also start the puppies on when they begin to eat at about 6 weeks of age. Puppy owners receive a complimentary bag to get you started when you take your puppy home.
Our dogs deliver their puppies in our family room, attended by me, my twins and a veterinary technician. We have a long-standing relationship with a family veterinarian who makes home visits, so the puppies are not exposed to other pets or viruses/contaminants outside of the home until after they have had their first round of vaccinations, and leave for their forever homes. All puppies receive a complete veterinarian well puppy check, including examination of their teeth, ears, bone structure, organs, presence of testicles (males), response testing, microchipping and first-round of vaccinations. We urge you to have your puppy seen by your family vet and receive any necessary vaccinations as soon as possible after going home.
Professional Registration
Labradoodles are not yet recognized by the AKC as a breed, however the Continental Kennel Club, which holds very high standards and provides equal benefits, recognizes the pups we breed. The litter will be registered with the CKC, and paperwork will be provided to the puppy owners, allowing you the opportunity to receive the benefits of professional kennel club membership. Annual membership fees are nominal.
Our Breeding Females
Recently, we retired Mocha Jo the Magnificent, our chocolate dam, after she delivered her fourth litter two years ago. Athena, one of her offspring, is 4 years old, and has had only two litters, as we only breed our dogs once per year, so as to give them a break in between raising litters. This makes for more healthy dogs and puppies. We are careful to select our studs from high-quality breeders, and restrict the number of litters, so that our breeding females have a “normal” life while not raising their litters.
Athena has always wanted to be a “mom,” having puppy-sat our prior litters from three weeks of age, playing with them, and helping to get them nearly fully potty trained by the time they went home. Athena is a beautiful chocolate F1 Labradoodle with blond highlights on the peak of her head.
Athena has an engaging and funny personality. She will “smile” on command, with a full, toothy grin. She loves to entertain herself and play with others, and is often found throwing a ball to herself, playing chase with the cats, keep-away with my twin children, or doing tricks to impress visitors. She has a soft, semi-curly chocolate coat, which does not shed. She has a downy undercoat that falls out twice each year (typical for F1 Labradoodles). She is very smart and obedient, and learns new commands easily. She is easy to walk on or off leash, and is very eager to listen to commands. She is very lovable, often asking for “hugs” from us, just like her father did (a large, cream standard poodle). She is intuitive, and knows when you need a friend, laying her head on your lap, and loving having you play with her curls. She will definitely pass along these great traits to her offspring!
The “Stud” – Houston
We carefully chose our stud for Athena, and after several interviews – we found Houston. Houston is owned by our veterinary fertility specialist – Dr. Richard Wheeler of CSU. Houston is a rare “red” standard poodle, who comes from a well-bred, champion lined AKC standard poodle. We chose him for his demeanor, precise breeding (he hails from Coplar Creek Poodles in Seattle), so as to create the coveted standard-sized F1B Labradoodle (75% poodle, 25% Labrador). Dr. Wheeler is a very well-regarded canine fertility specialist, who has helped hundreds of breeders create beautiful litters. His careful attention to the health, vibrancy and well-being of his own animals, and those he treats as patients, mirrors with our in-home “member of the family” philosophy for raising our dogs.
Our Commitment to Quality
We take exceptional care of our breeding dogs, raising our dogs and pups in our home, where they receive constant attention and interaction. Athena has been certified “GOOD” by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals for hips, elbows (dysplasia), and CAER (eyes), and also has a clear certification of common genetic diseases (Von Willebrand’s) We feed them the highest quality grain-free food, and provide regular exercise, agility training and the occasional swim. We use a highly-trained and well-experienced fertility veterinarian at Colorado State University Veterinary Hospital for artificial insemination, which provides for the best breeding results with the safest methodology.
Our pups are well socialized and given ample attention and affection while they are raised in our home. Starting on their first day, each puppy is gently rubbed and caressed and encouraged to bond with their mother. As the pups grow older, we systematically introduce developmentally appropriate stimulus for them, including gentle massage, stimulating toys (after 4 weeks of age), reward motivation and basic training just prior to departing for their forever homes. Many families wait until puppies are 8 weeks of age to go home. If you would like for us to consider an earlier or later departure, please let us know your plans.
We raise our puppies so that they are accustomed to other people, dogs, children, cats and stimulus. If your chosen dog is not working out for your family, please let us know immediately, and we will rehome the dog and give you priority selection on the next litter. While this has never happened (we are very good at matching temperaments with human personalities), rest assured, we want you to be 100% happy with your puppy, FOR LIFE.
We want to make sure that you have the best, lifelong family member as possible. When selecting your puppy, we will help you understand the temperament, disposition and preferences of the puppies, as we have daily interactions with them, and can provide insight to you that will help you make your decision. Puppy selection is done at 6 weeks, and is given in the order of receipt of paid reservation fee (currently $300). Due to the possibility of exposure of unwanted germs, we are sorry, but visits prior to six weeks of age are not possible. Once you have made your reservation, however, we will provide you with weekly updates as well as photos and videos of the puppies. You will also receive a puppy “survival bag” when you pick up your puppy, so you can share in the joy of their early days.
While we are careful with our breeding, feeding, caretaking and upbringing, sometimes, puppies develop problems later in life, whether from environment, exposure or common dog-related illnesses. Our puppies come with a two-year health warranty, protecting your investment with a money-back guarantee (with return of the puppy/dog), should your pup develop any genetic, life-threatening illness in the first two years of life. Please see the guarantee documentation for more information on this offer.

Testimonials from happy Mojie-Doodles with Love Families:
After our black lab passed away, my husband became interested in labradoodles. If you'd told me I would drive nine hours to bring one home, I would have thought you were crazy, but that's exactly what we did. We found the website online and my daughter began talking to Beth. She was patient with all of our questions and talked to us frequently. She sent photos and matched us with the perfect dog. It was obvious he was raised in a loving home. He is now almost a year old and we have no regrets. He does need a lot of exercise and we walk him daily. He loves to play fetch, run in the yard and just be with his 'people'. He is pretty calm (especially for his age and size) and he gets along well with my daughter's small dog. He doesn't shed, which is a plus, but he is a chewer so we provide lots of bones and chew toys. He is so good natured and shows no aggression to people or other animals. He is still learning and can be a giant goofball, but we love his personality and would definitely recommend this breeder.

"We received "Otis" in 2014, one of Mo'Jo's litters. We had a very positive experience, the puppies were being raised in a loving home environment. Beth was very open and helpful, answering any questions we had about selecting a puppy. We could not be more happy with how Otis is turning out. He received an A+ in obedience classes and loves the trips to the dog park, I think he has to say hi to every dog there. We definitely made the right decision getting a puppy from Beth."

I wanted to tell you how much we love our Hazel. Even though she's just a puppy still, her love and devotion for our family is always so apparent. Three weeks ago, our 15 year old was seriously injured in a snowboarding accident. He's been on bedrest since and just underwent surgery yesterday. Both of our doodles have been by his side while he's been recovering, and it's been the sweetest thing. Cody has always kept the dogs on his right side so that they didn't get too close to the unstable break in his shoulder. This morning, on day one of his recovery, Hazel came flying into the bedroom and jumped up on the bed. Before I could stop her from getting too close to Cody's injury, she plopped down next to him and rested her chin on the pillow, with her nose right by Cody's incisions. She fell asleep and stayed just like that for over an hour. She's the sweetest, most loyal dog and we are so honored to have her in our family. She's been an extra blessing to Cody through these difficult weeks. Thank you for raising such a beautiful creature, we love her so much!

We are so in love with our Dugan! He is a great family dog, and loves to play with my boys. We could tell that he was raised in a loving home with lots of attention, as he acclimated so well to our active home. We have to say that selecting and buying a puppy can be very nerve-wracking, but you made it so easy – from helping us choose the right puppy for our home, to sending us weekly updates, to preparing us for coming home day, and even after we had him home – you were so helpful and informative every step of the way. Thank you for bringing us so much joy in Dugan!

Hi Beth! Just wanted to let you know we’ve been enjoying Jasper so much!!! He is such a sweet and good boy. I have family here with me, and they keep calling him “the perfect puppy!” He is really doing great with potty-training, eating, and playing. He is getting lots of love! He is fitting in like a glove with our family. He really is such a great puppy – so mellow and sweet! He is such an awesome dog! Thank you so much!

Pepper is thriving. She takes such good care of all of us, especially our now almost three-year-old son, Atticus. She's always so affectionate whether it's celebrating a great moment with us or consoling us when things aren't going our way. Atticus, Pepper, and I play a lot of hide and seek right now, which she loves and is way too good at, but nothing gets her prancing and excited like going for a good long walk or hike. Her ability to win over every heart always amazes me too. She makes friends with every dog and person at the dog park and my siblings, who never grew up around dogs and were rather skeptical of her when she was an energetic puppy, are now completely in love with her too.

Lyric is my baby! She is the sweetest, most loving companion I could ever hope for! I couldn’t be happier than I am, and cannot imagine my life without her. She integrated so well with my other dog and my young sons. She is sweet, sensitive and super smart! I love how these dogs entertain themselves, and also, she inherited this hilarious trait of “smiling” the biggest toothy grin when she greets me when I come home. I am more than pleased with my experience with Athena’s puppies, and Mojie-Doodles With Love. I know that I have a quality dog that will be the heart of my family for a very long time.
