Blood donor needed for dog in critical care 🩸🐾

Hello everyone,

We urgently require the community's help in trying to save a fur baby that has come to us recently. We are not at liberty to share further information at this stage however the pet needs critical care and a lot of blood currently.

We need a blood donor dog who is:
- Fit and healthy
- 1-7 years old
- Weighs over 25kg
- Negative for infectious diseases
- Not on medication
- Has a suitable temperament
- Hasn't donated blood in the last 2 months
- Hasn't received a blood transfusion
- Hasn't given birth to puppies

Just like humans require blood when they undergo certain procedures, our fur babies need blood as well. Unfortunately, unlike in the case of humans, canine blood is not as readily available.

This dog has been all alone for 3 days. Can anyone temporarily foster her?

CARER FOUND! TRANSPORT TO FOSTER HOME NEEDED

Foster carer needed: Unfortunately, Vel has been left alone now for 3 days.

We have not received any applications for beautiful Vel… this is really upsetting considering she has been home all alone, day and night for the last 3 days. She has had no human interaction apart from being quickly fed before her owners have to leave again for safety reasons, but this is NOT enough and cannot be sustained for the next three weeks. It would be cruel to leave her by herself without the comfort and love of a human for the rest of the month, she is already so lonely. We have received over 30 foster applications for one dog in the last 24 hours (which we are extremely grateful for!), but not a single application for Vel. Surely there has to be at least 1 person or family out there who can give this girl company and a safe home for a few weeks?😞

Foster carer needed for Vel - Female 3 yo German Shepherd, located in the Campbelltown Area. 🐾❤️

We are urgently seeking a foster carer for Vel, a lovely dog in need of a temporary home. Vel's family recently experienced an incident at home, making it unsafe to live in while repairs are underway. Currently, Vel is staying in the backyard and being fed, but this is not a viable long-term solution as she has been all alone outside of feeding time for 2 days now. We need a foster carer until approx. 30/8/24 (little over 3 weeks).

We have been told Vel is sweet natured with no signs of aggression. As she has not been around many dogs, cats or children, she will need to be the only animal in the home with no younger children. She is an outdoor dog, so a backyard with secure 6ft Colorbond fencing will be required and daily walks as she is an active breed (we are told she is excitable so can tug a bit on lead).

THIS SWEET BOY HAS NO WHERE TO GO 💔

This sweetheart is on transport (has found very temporary care as arrived in Melbourne yesterday and the person who was going to take him changed there mind. So with no where to go very urgent very temporary foster care was found for this weekend only, then he is in kennels until Friday. If we can't find a foster carer he is going back to the pound where he could be euthanised.

He needs A MIRACLE NOW. He needs a VIC FOSTER CARER locked in NOW to take him on Friday 9th. Final drop off is Calder (Melbourne).

The poor boy doesn't even have a name so has been nicknamed Milo. He is a brindle staffy x mix breed. Approx 18 months old. Very very friendly and just a complete happy boy. He’s a sweetheart. Good with the other dogs. No vet work done yet. Not tested with cats.

This is extremely urgently and time is limited. We don’t have any other information other than our rescue is the difference between his life and death and we can only save him if we can find a foster carer.

UPDATE!!

Jackson is on trial for adoption in a wonderful home ❤️🥰🐶. Thank you for all your enquiries comments and shares! Let’s keep our fingers crossed that this beautiful little man has found his forever home!

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Jackson has ended up back in our care and DESPERATELY needs a home.
Due to being moved around so often, Jackson is suffering a lot of anxiety and heartbreak and really needs someone who can show him love, time and consistency. Ideally we would love someone to adopt Jackson or foster to adopt him as he is easily attached and with every move, Jackson is suffering.

You may remember reading Jackson's heartbreaking story about how he ended up in the care of Remote Animal Assistance.
Unfortunately, Jackson has not been able to secure a place to call his own and is desperately searching for someone who can love him as much as he loves them.

Jackson is a gentle, loving and friendly senior dog who adores humans.
He is a very easy-going boy and is extremely low maintenance.
Whether you are watching a movie or going for a drive, Jackson wants to be involved.🚗📺

Despite being 9 years of age, Jackson is fit and healthy.

Butter is my sister's dog. My sister had a major health episode today and was admitted to hospital. She will be in hospital for around 2-3 weeks and there is no where for Butter to go. He is staying for two nights (until Sunday 4th August) at a Vet boarding centre but after that there is no where for him to go and we cannot afford to keep him at the vet boarding place.

Foster carer needed for Harley* - a young 1 yo Staffy currently located Sutherland area

Harley’s owner is in a treatment centre and Harley is currently in boarding kennel, Harley has a fractured scapular and needs crate rest. A kennel is not the best environment for his recovery. looking for a kind person to care for him for 8 weeks. We are told he is toilet trained and loves anyone and everyone.
