Did you know an estimated 2.7 million adoptable cats and dogs euthanized in shelters each year? That’s right, according the the Humane Society of the United States, that’s about 7,397 per day! When Lisa & Lisa discovered that staggering statistic and how little time some animals are given at some shelters, they knew they had to do something about it. On Facebook Lisa Clark began sharing, posting,

pledging, coordinating transportation for dogs with little to no time left at their shelters all over the country. She became part of a huge network of people trying to save the lives of adoptable dogs. She would part of the solution. She was going to save lives, even if it was one dog at a time. She was going to start a dog rescue. In 2013 Imagine Peace for Pups was founded in Kirkland, a suburb of Seattle WA, by Lisa Clark along with friend and animal lover Lisa Nelson. We focus on saving adoptable dogs from high-kill shelters, especially in southern California, and finding them forever homes. Imagine Peace for Pups is a network of foster homes and volunteers working to give dogs a second chance. We have a huge soft spot for pit bulls/pit bull mixes that are often given little to no time, but we are not a breed specific rescue. Imagine Peace for Pups Rescue is a registered charity in Washington state and is a federally recognized 501(c)3 charity.

This beautiful girl has been in her foster home for A YEAR. She’s had a handful of apps and not one person was right, or got back to us. She is so deserving of her own family. Friends, we are at our wits end for this sweet boy. He’s a good boy and we need to find him a new living situation. His foster family adores him, but the mama is so allergic to him that it’s truly affecting her health.

Willy is EXTREMELY shy and anxious with new people. However, once he lets you in, he’s your bestie. He’s currently on medication for his anxiety and it’s helping him immensely. Willy loves other dogs, doesn’t seem to mind cats and we think little kids might be too much for him. He needs to be in a home with people that will let him take the time he needs to become comfortable.

He has a meet n greet over thanksgiving weekend, and we are hoping with everything we have that it goes well. But, if it doesn’t he can’t go back home with his current foster. We need a backup plan.

Willy is currently being fostered in Olympia. If you think you can help us out, let us know!

These two are the best pups! Eeyore, on the left is now ALF - no not the tv character. It’s ALF = Animal Liberation Foundation 🩷. And Buttercup is now Bumper! We are so happy for them

Friends, today Buttercup and Eeyore have been reunited and will be raised together! Eeyore’s new family just couldn’t get Buttercup out of their hearts when they left last week with Eeyore. And it seemed neither could Eeyore. He displayed sadness and separation anxiety from the only family he knew. And Eeyore’s wonderful new family wanted to make them both happy! We’ll update with more pics later. This closes a really long chapter for this rescue. We took this family on in February. 4 adult dogs and so many puppies! Everyone has a family. The adults have all been fixed. The original owners now have their house back too! Thank you Joe Kinder and Rebecca Clark and everyone that helped us get this done. It truly took a village 🩷🩷🩷
