Imagine Peace for Pups Rescue “Love begins at home & it is not how much we do, but how much love we put in that action” ~ Mother T One dog in particlar, Beau, changed her life forever.

Did you know an estimated 2.7 million adoptable cats and dogs euthanized in shelters each year? That’s right, according the the Humane Society of the United States, that’s about 7,397 per day! When Lisa & Lisa discovered that staggering statistic and how little time some animals are given at some shelters, they knew they had to do something about it. On Facebook Lisa Clark began sharing, posting,

pledging, coordinating transportation for dogs with little to no time left at their shelters all over the country. She became part of a huge network of people trying to save the lives of adoptable dogs. She would part of the solution. She was going to save lives, even if it was one dog at a time. She was going to start a dog rescue. In 2013 Imagine Peace for Pups was founded in Kirkland, a suburb of Seattle WA, by Lisa Clark along with friend and animal lover Lisa Nelson. We focus on saving adoptable dogs from high-kill shelters, especially in southern California, and finding them forever homes. Imagine Peace for Pups is a network of foster homes and volunteers working to give dogs a second chance. We have a huge soft spot for pit bulls/pit bull mixes that are often given little to no time, but we are not a breed specific rescue. Imagine Peace for Pups Rescue is a registered charity in Washington state and is a federally recognized 501(c)3 charity.

No updates - she’s sedated anf getting treatment for her wounds. We are hopefule she recovers❤️

Freinds- we don’t know anymore than we did this morning. She’s at EAS receiving much needed treatment. We will update as we get them. Our suspicions aren’t great but we won’t post those yet. We will wait for facts.

Oh friends, this is breaking my heart and I’m waiting for more info, but this little girl Rogue was adopted out last August. We received a call from Snohomish County AC this morning that she was picked up in Kenmore near the gun range. In really bad shape 😞 after a morning of research, she was rehomed by her adopters. Yes it’s In The contract that she come back to us, but they “didn’t remember that” so they re-homed her through Craigslist🤬 they gave her away. They didn’t even get a phone number. They just handed her over. The only thing they DID do was transfer her chip while they stood there watching. I’m sure the info isn’t real, but that too will be turned over to AC.

The original adopters not only gave her away, they got another dog 🤬

So, waiting for more info, but she will need to be sprung from the shelter at some point and I’m going to need a foster. She’s still a puppy 😞

We have a sad update, one of Kidd’s brothers, Jude(Jesse) crossed the rainbow bridge on December 28th. He had a tumor on his heart 😞💔

Jude lived locally (Bothell WA) and was so loved. Here are some pics of this sweet handsome boy in his last few days, surrounded by those he loved.

Please don’t tag us, or send us dogs to rescue. We have no room. We have no fosters. We have several dogs that have been in their foster homes for over a year. We need adopters. We need donations so we could possibly help other dogs. But we don’t have either, so please just don’t 😞

Friends! This handsome boy was found by one of our adopters in Battleground. She knocked on doors - he was found in an apt complex, no one knows him. He has no chip, is not neutered and no idea about vaccines. Finder cannot keep, she has other cats and a dog and he’s picking fights with everyone in the house. He’s safe in her garage but it’s not ideal.

Do I know anyone that can help us help her? A foster? Ideas on low cost neutering?

They have named him Bartholomew 🩷 please reach out if you think you can help.

NOT OUR DOGS - courtesy post

This bonded pair is looking for their forever home. Their human sadly is in jail until May. She would love to have them back when she is out, but she realizes that may not be realistic. They are currently living with their other human, who cannot care for them where he currently lives. (They separated before she went to jail). They are with him in Newport OR for the weekend, but he really needs to find them a better arrangement. After this weekend they will be coming to Tacoma, but will be staying with him, maybe in a car 😞 they are BossKo and Butters. In the first pic, BossKo is on the left. BossKo is 4 and Butters is a little over 1. Both males. Both neutered. They are chi/doxie mixes.

If you are interested please pm. We need to help them ASAP

***Not our dog, courtesy post for Rebel Souls Rescue *** MEET CRUZ! This handsome young man is Cruz. He was a shelter pull from SoCal. This good boy is somewhere between 2-3 yrs old. He’s neutered. Up to date on his shots. Loves to play with other dogs. Is good with kids, even littles! Cats are a BIG FAT NO. So, probably no chickens either 🥴 Cruz is being fostered in Marysville WA and is available for adoption now! Also, if you’re inclined to try and foster a dog, he’d be a good boy to start with. His current situation is not the best for the household, since there are cats and it’s hard to keep everyone safe. Please reach out if you’re interested in meeting Cruz!

Friends, Mystique - now Gracie- HAS BEEN ADOPTED!! She was the last one of the litter to find her forever family, but she found them and they love her to the moon! Happy tails little girl. Have the best life ever!
