We have a new Groomer! We are taking grooming appointments starting Tuesday, February 6, 2024. Call (312)243-6655 to schedule an appointment. Here is a short bio about our new groomer:

Vanessa started her career working with animals at Petsmart in 2009 as a pet care specialist. She graduated from Vet Tech Institute at Fox College in 2012 and has worked for Banfield and VCA. She has years of experience at VCA Animal Care Center as the surgery lead technician.

With her background in working with dogs in the medical field, she is better equipped to work with very shy and aggressive dogs. She will work with your pet and go at a pace they are most comfortable with. If your pet has any special needs, please don’t hesitate to let her know as this will change her approach in how she handles your pet’s grooming visit to ensure a happy visit for your beloved pet.

Did you know we offer day boarding and both short-term and long-term boarding for both dogs and cats? We offer one-on-one time for your dog or cat with one of our compassionate kennel assistants, toys for fetch or tug, comfy blankets & beds, fresh bowls and multiple check-ins throughout the day. The one-on-one time makes Animal Care Center of Chicago a great boarding option for your anti-dog-social pup.
