Here is the updated vet bill that we still owe! We have gone from $6000 or more in vet bills due now to just $1,148.88!! 🎉
Let’s work together to get this last little bit paid off so we can FINALLY reopen intakes!! Intakes have been closed for 7 months due to us needing to get caught up on vet bills so that is 7 months that we haven’t been able to help save anyone from euthanasia 💔

This poor baby has been sick for a for awhile now, we have run tons of tests and the vet cannot figure out what is going on with him 💔 He was referred to a specialist but we are out of funds! Please if you can donate, he needs to be seen ASAP but they won’t see him unless we can pay. They are estimating just the initial diagnostic testing with the specialist will cost around $2,000!

8/7 Update! Morticia has been adopted 💖
Hey everyone! I know we have been asking for some much help lately, but we need you now! These 3 girls need fosters or foster to adopters by July 1st. These girls are all amazing and super sweet, here is a little about them:
Morticia: Potty trained, kid friendly, dog friendly, and cat friendly. She does have separation anxiety so she will need a heavy duty kennel when you are not home or would do best with someone who is home all the time. She’s an amazing girl when her people are with her, she just doesn’t like to be away from them.
Ducky: Mostly potty trained, kid friendly, dog friendly (needs slow introductions to females), NOT cat friendly. This girl can be very shy at first but once you earn her trust she will melt right into you.
Cathy: Needs work on potty training, dog friendly, NOT cat friendly. Has a lot of energy so active people or another canine friend to help her run some of that off. She’s a super sweet girl and she LOVES treats!

We were reached out to about taking this boy but unfortunately since we are still in an intake hold, we cannot help so we wanted to share this boy so you all can share as well to see if we can get this boy a home ♥️ Located in Missouri at Friends of the Pet Adoption Center
Meet Jango outside of his kennel, please!
He is a 1 year old Rottweiler/German Shepherd mix, who was found on I-70 and Wentzville Pkwy in March. He was very scared and ran away from rescuers, so a trap was set!
He immediately went into foster and attached himself to his foster! He lived with a cat and children.
We learned he would do best with kids older than 14 due to his sensitivity to loud noises and quick movements.
He is very loyal to his person. He loves to run in the yard and play.
Jango is potty trained and crate trained! He knows, sit, paws, stays, and lay down. When he trusts you, he loves to snuggle. On May 11th at the event, volunteer Bev saw that being outside the shelter definitely helped him come out of his shell more. She also learned he would do best with respectful dogs who don't greet face to face!
He is looking for an experienced home who will love him, earn his trust, and build his confidence!
He would love to meet you outside in the yards!❤️

Oreo Update! Unfortunately the testing didn’t tell us much.. just that he has a lot of bacteria in his system so they are going to try another antibiotic to see if it will help! He has his good days and his bad days but this morning he let his foster know he wanted to EAT ♥️♥️ so this is a good sign!

Baby Blitzen is feeling so much better!!! He is now eating with everyone again! He is getting some air through his nose finally so now he can sleep peacefully and not wake up after 2 seconds bc he cannot breathe! ❤️🩹 Blitzen Update ❤️🩹 This baby boy finally started showing signs of being a puppy again today! He hasn’t played or wagged his tail in a week and today he finally did 🥰🥰 so we know he is slowly starting to feel better! I have grown so attached to this boy with him having to be by my side 24/7 that I am going to be so sad when he leaves for his forever home on 1/31! Wanted to share this adorable video of Mama Jess and baby Rudolph 😍🫶🏼 & also Blitzen, Vixen, Prancer, and Rudolph have approved adopters so far for the day they are ready to go home 🙏🏼🥰 5 other babies still up for adoption and they will be 6 weeks next Wednesday so hoping to find forever homes for them within the next 2 weeks so they can all go to their homes at the same time!
🆘🆘 We just paid a vet bill for 5 kittens to be fixed and get 3 shots each so they can be officially adopted and the total was $1165 and wiped out the last of our funds.. I hate to be a broken record always asking for help but want to break down an example of how rescue works and why we always need help, especially without donations coming in consistently. These 5 kittens just today each got fixed and 3 shots which totaled $1165, they have been to the vet 2 other times to get other shots and test ran in order to be ready for adoption.. just on these 5 kittens alone we have spent about $2500-$3000 and what we will get back for their adoption fees in $600 total.. so this is why we are always asking for help! No matter what, rescue is not a money “making” business but literally a money “loosing” business.. we do it for the animals and to get them to better lives, not to make money or even to break even.. any donations will help us contribute to do what we do and save lives!!
