HOOLIGAN WALKS:

Dogs benefit enormously from walking in new and interesting areas with different terrain and lots of smells, as well as from playing, socialising and just being a dog! If your dog is nervous, barks at other dogs, or just needs to go at their own pace, then their walk will be tailored to suit them and Hooligan Dogs will teach t

hem how to cope with the world around them. Your dog will be

• Picked up and dropped off.
• Carefully introduced to walking mates.
• Given a towel dry after wet or muddy walks.
• Settled in at home with food or a favourite toy.
• Photographed and videoed so that you can see all the fun. HOOLIGAN TRAINING:

We all love our dogs and science has proved how beneficial they can be to our health, especially by helping us relax and getting us out walking. Untrained dogs, however, can create a lot of stress! Hooligan Dogs will help with one-to-one training to show you how to train your dog to be well mannered and well adjusted using kind, scientifically proven methods. Hooligan Dogs will tailor your dog’s training to suit their needs and ability, with patience and understanding at the heart of everything we do together. Training can include

• Paying attention to you.
• Coming when called.
• Walking nicely on the lead.
• Basic obedience (sit, stay, lie down, leave it).
• Not jumping up.
• Self control and coping strategies.
• Keeping boredom at bay.
• Learning dog body language.
• Life skills for puppies (sometimes necessary for grown-ups too – it’s never too late to teach an old dog new tricks!): housetraining, confidence, good manners and all of the above. Hooligan Dogs is fully insured, qualified in canine first aid and holds the Canine Behaviour and Training Technician (CBTT) qualification from OCN-NI & AniEd Ireland, as well as a BSc (Hons) in Natural Sciences from Trinity College Dublin.
