Lippitt Morgans are a unique, as well as uncommon, bloodline within the Morgan breed, having the highest percentage of pure Morgan blood found in the Morgan Horse breed today. Tracing back to the first Morgan horse, more than 200 years ago, Lippitts carry no crosses to other breeds since the late 1800’s. Even today, many Lippitts can trace their ancestry back to the original Morgan in as few as tw

elve generations. Lippitts are the epitome of the original Morgan type, having all the heart, intelligence, and steadfast qualities that made the Morgan breed indispensable as an all-round versatile horse, with style, during the foundation and development of America.
