Feathered Timmy and Jinx... The fairly odd parrots Timmy is a Yellow-Naped Amazon Parrot. cranky. He's a curious fellow and potentially too smart for his own good.

We're not sure how old he is, technically we're not sure he's even a boy, but we're pretty sure. He can be a pit unpredictable and you should never put your fingers in his cage, because he can get, err.. Mai-Tai came to us as a baby in June, 2010 following the loss of our first Budgerigar, Baby. He's such a goofy little thing and very tame. He only says one word, "kiss". Shockingly, he loves to gi

ve kisses. He'll stand with his little tummy against your face and kiss your cheek, chin and lip over and over again. Our flock also has 3 humans (Mommy, Daddy, Brother), as we've definitely become a family. Daddy is pretty sure that they feel sorry for us because we're impaired. Not having wings or being able to fly must be just awful! Oh, and I think Timmy thinks Brother is really his child rather than his brother!

Making a mess!

This is what Timmy does when the vacuum is running.

Not really sure how we feel about the bird in the little purple box. Although he is obviously quite gorgeous, he seems to be getting in the way of our goodnight scritches!

La la la, taking a shower

Sometimes you just need to talk mommy into giving you scritches, even if it is the middle of the night.

Timmy started dancing in circles recently, he's a little camera shy at first, but he does it a few times towards the end.

Here is a video from shortly after Mai-Tai came into our family. The fan is loud in the background but I love this video and all the sweet little noises he makes to the handsome budgie in the mirror.
