Cricket enjoyed a little time on the living room rug this afternoon. In the past, Ladybug would chase him away if he got too comfortable on the rug - Ladybug feels the living room rug belongs only to her - but lately Ladybug has been a little more accommodating. This makes me happy as they both look so cute when they are relaxing close to each other.

Happy New Year!! Cricket was able to stay awake until midnight, so we were all able to greet 2025 together. It's Friday and we are remembering Delilah and Chuggaboom tonight with this video from November 2014. We miss these two little ones so much. I just rediscovered this video and do not believe I've ever shared it on this page before tonight. Both Chuggaboom and Delilah used to love pieces of pizza crust as a treat. Whenever I'd bring home a pizza, they would get excited and twirl around in circles in anticipation. After I'd give each of them a piece, they would carry it away from the kitchen and lay on the living room rug and start chewing away. After they finished, they would run back to the kitchen for another piece of pizza crust! This would go on for quite a while. Seeing this video brings back so many memories! Chuggaboom and Delilah are forever in our hearts. <3

Ladybug has a new favorite way to eat her meals! She likes me to lay out pieces of her food along the side of her little bed, so she can eat them while walking around it. I'm not sure how this new way of eating came about; all I know is when she is hungry, she now stands by her little bed barking at me until I do it!
