Our amazing ranch manager Kris and her daughter Paige, stayed up all night to support Eve during her delivery, Kris called it perfectly—six puppies!

Eve welcomed six healthy puppies last night, with the last little one arriving at 12:30 AM. What a night to remember!

Eve's story is nothing short of a Christmas miracle. Scheduled for euthanasia simply because she was pregnant, her future looked bleak—until Sunshine Dog Rescue sent out a desperate plea for help. Luckily, UAF had an open spot and we all coordinated plans to bring her to Prescott.

She arrived just in time, on Christmas Eve Eve, ready to start a new chapter. Now, her little miracles are on the way, and we can’t wait to share the journey with you! ❤️🎄

🎄 Just in time for Christmas, UAF has been busy spreading holiday cheer through two incredible rescue missions!

✨ Mission 1: Best Friends reached out to us to assist with the very first transfer from the Hopi Reservation Animal Control. They had three adorable sisters in need of a safe place to call home. We quickly organized transport, and these sweet girls arrived full of love and gratitude, so happy to begin their new journey. 💕

✨ Mission 2: Just yesterday, we answered an urgent plea from our friends at Sunshine Dog Rescue. A pregnant dog in the Santa Cruz County, AZ shelter was scheduled to be euthanized, and she needed immediate help to save her and her unborn puppies. Sunshine Dog Rescue arranged temporary safety for her in southern Arizona, while we coordinated transport to Prescott. Now, this sweet mama—who we've named Eve in honor of her Christmas Eve Eve arrival—is snuggled up in her cozy puppy pad, awaiting the arrival of her little ones. 🐾💖

These rescues are a testament to the power of teamwork and compassion. Thank you to everyone who made these life-saving missions possible! ❤️

Athena and Monty are mother and son. Athena, who is about 3.5-years-old, is sweet, gentle and receptive to being petted. She is content to stay in your lap if you place her there, and recently started to hop onto your lap when she wants attention. She is inquisitive and likes to explore. Monty, who is about 2.5-years-old, is a sweet and gentle boy who loves having his chin scratched. He spends considerable time in his cat bed or the cat tree. He will interact with toys you are holding. However, a sudden movement can frighten him and he will hide in his enclosed bed. Because of his insecurity he follows his mom’s lead as to what he should be doing. He is very bonded with his mother, so they must be adopted together.

Both cats are a bit skittish. They will need someone who can give them time and patience. They have been around, and are OK with, other cats and dogs.

Athena and Monty have a food allergy and require a special, single protein diet food (duck only protein) that is available in pet food stores or on-line. They are current on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, are spayed/neutered and are microchipped.

Tippers, who is 8-years-old, is one big lovable boy! He likes to talk to you and tell you about his day and then kindly ask you to give him some nice ear scratches and back rubs. Tippers is a great cat who wants nothing more than to lounge and be loved on. He also likes to play fetch with his favorite mouse toy.

Tippers has been diagnosed with early-stage diabetes, but the good news is that it is managed with diet and a daily pill. He will need regular vet check-ups, but he is worth it because he will provide you with all the love in the world. If you're looking for a fabulous companion, you and Tippers might just be a match made in heaven.

Daisy, who is 1 year old, is not only beautiful but also has a loving and sweet nature. She tolerates other cats, but prefers to hang out with people. If you are looking for an affectionate furry friend, Daisy just might be the one. Daisy was transferred to us by a partner rescue. She is a short hair, dilute tortoiseshell who is current on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, is spayed and is microchipped.

Our crafty UAF elves have raised $4,820 so far this year for United Animal Friends. If you were looking for gifts for your Grandpups, friends pups, or your own pup come by. Come see us at the Last Minute Stocking Stuffer event today from 10-3.
824 E Gurley, Prescott at the Prescott Activity Center "The Old Armory". Our volunteers handmake all these wonderful gifts and ALL the proceeds benefit animals!
We will also be at Petco in Frontier Village from 11-1 with our adorable 🥰 adoptable dogs.
AND UAF will be participating in the annual Christmas parade, start time is at 1:00 don't be late Santa is watching 🎅
