We provide compassionate veterinary care for dogs and cats in the comfort of your home. We are closed Saturdays, Sundays and all major holidays.

Mid State Pet Health is open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Wednesday from 8:00am to 4:00pm and Friday from 8:00am to 12:00 noon. All emergencies are referred to Mountain View Animal Emergency conveniently located at 13810 Crayton Blvd, Hagerstown, MD 21742. - In home vaccine and well pet services
- Onsite Pharmacy, Online Pharmacy, Purina Direct Pet Foods
- Onsite workup for ears, skin, lumps, etc.
- In home workup for ill pets
- Onsite Serum Chemistry
- Full send out reference lab services
- In home euthanasia with cremation options available

Please understand our current limitations. We will happily assist you with referral should any of these services be needed:
- Diagnostic imaging (Radiographs, Ultrasound, MRI, CT, etc.)
- Hospitalization
- Surgery
- After hours care

A word about our fees and service area: Services are limited to Pennsylvania only. We will travel to sections of Franklin and Cumberland counties that are within a limited travel time from our base in Newburg with a normal trip fee of $53.00. All appointments must be scheduled in advance (we do not provide same day appointments or emergency appts/services). Fees for services should be in line with what you would expect from an average veterinary practice. We’ll happily provide an estimate if needed prior to your appointment. Payment (Cash, Credit Card, Check) is expected at the time of service.

A friendly reminder to purchase your 2025 annual dog license by January 1, 2025. All dogs 8 weeks of age and older are required to have a current dog license in the state of PA (this is a new requirement as of earlier this year)🐶🐾🐶

We currently offer the following services: - In home vaccine and well pet services - Onsite Pharmacy, Online Pharmacy, Purina Direct Pet Foods - Onsite workup for ears, skin, lumps, etc. - In home workup for ill pets - Onsite Serum Chemistry, Thyroid, Manual Differentials, and Urinalysis - Full send out reference lab services - In home euthanasia with cremation options available - Vaccine Clinics Since we’re a growing and relatively new company, please understand our current limitations. We will happily assist you with referral should any of these services be needed: - Diagnostic imaging (Radiographs, Ultrasound, MRI, CT, etc.) - Hospitalization - Surgery - After hours care A word about our fees and service area: Services are limited to Pennsylvania only. We will gladly travel within 45 minutes of Newburg, PA (17240) when scheduled in advance for our normal trip fee of $45. We schedule our appointments by region for each day. Short notice or longer distance trips may incur a higher trip fee. Fees for services should be in line with or slightly less than you would expect from an average veterinary practice. We’ll happily provide an estimate if needed prior to your appointment. Payment (Cash, Credit Card, Check) is expected at the time of service.
