We want to thank all our supporters and donations. We are sending you love from BraselBeez. We are continuing to plant for our pollinators in case they feel safe to come back.

**Important note- Even extremely small, residual doses of the chemicals used in mosquito sprays can disorient honey bees and prevent them from returning to the hive.

We no longer sell honey at this time. Please do not call us to save
a swarm from your area, the reason for this is we normally bring them to our apiary and give them a home. At the present not even wild bees come to the area.

"I am a beekeeper and it's swarm season! If you see a large cloud of bees congregating somewhere or a large cluster of them hanging on a branch, sign, fence post, etc. DO NOT BE FRIGHTENED!

These bees are homeless, wayward travelers looking for a new place to set up a hive. They not only have no home to defend, but they are also full and fat on honey so they have enough resources to start fresh wherever they end up.

This is the calmest you will ever see a honeybee. If you see this, contact your local beekeeper and they will be more than willing to come get them!

Swarm season 2018

Our bees are not happy today

Dedicated to my cousin Angelo Marchulaitis Telling the bees The beekeeper(or beekeepers) tap three times on the roof of each hive and whispers: Sweet bees Angelo your master has passed on, he has taken the journey we must make. He loved and cared for you well. A new master will care for you now. Grieve not too long, but return to your chores, and gather the pollen and nectar in. Rewards your new master with plenty of honey to spin. All is well in Gods world. Be content lovely ladies, you are in good hands. Thanks to your late master Angelo our sweetest soul. The beekeeper ( or beekeepers) ties a black sash around one or all of the hives and leave food and drink for the bees. Thank you Angelo Marchulaitis, for loving the honey bees you will be missed.

Now that they are all together out of the hive now they can all travel to their destination.

Step three- They are making a pit stop gathering all their info ... Watch the tree branch.... They get so heavy they bend the branch downwards to the ground.

Step two this is what it looks like when the swarm leaves the hive to travel to their new home. Not to worry... they are full of honey so they really dont want to sting. This cluster only last for a few minutes..

Our Story

Rich is from NY and Vyonne from MA came together in GA to build a beautiful life together. We became Beekeepers. We never use any chemicals in the hives nor do we take the honey from the bees in the fall. They have their own honey for the winter. We never heat our honey. Please do not give honey to a child under the age of one. Our story never ends we keep learning and we keep on going.
