Happy first Birthday to Benelli’s bunch! We have the joy of seeing these wonderful pups grow up and hunting with a couple along side their mother. Can’t wait to see what they do in the next year!!🐾 🎁 🧡 Benelli celebrated by retrieving pheasants and quail!

We always look forward to this time of year as we gear up for hunting season with the crew. Today marks a special day, it’s Benelli’s birthday! 💛 Your face may be getting lighter colored, but we are so grateful to have you, and we look forward to the years to come. This weekend we say goodbye to most of our furry friends from our Benelli x Zuma litter. We are sad to see them go, but excited for their new families to welcome them into their homes. These past few weeks have been so wonderful for our little handler to experience and help out. He got very attached to the small furry friends, but understood they have new homes to go to.

We have 1 male and 1 female still anxiously awaiting their new families to find them! 👀 🖤💛

We welcome all these families into our Lock N Load family! 🏡 ❤️

It is very hard to catch all the puppies at the same time! Today we welcomed 1 black male, 2 black females, and 4 yellow females from our Benelli x Zuma litter! Momma is doing well and has turned on total mom mode! We have a few available to approved 🏡

We are SO excited about this breeding! This pairing brings out the successful upland, retriever, and ultimate tournament dog! Litter will be 💛🖤

Both sides have very impressive pedigrees behind them and have competed in multiple venues and types of events. Zuma & Benelli are also extremely loyal family members. Genetic testing, hips/elbows have been done ✅

We have recently been informed that some of Benelli’s offspring have been tearing it up and adding some titles to their names!

“Skye” earned her HR title (Hunting Retriever)

“River” has earned his AKC SH (Senior Hunter), and GMPR (Grand Master Pointing Retriever)

We are extremely proud of the hard work that goes into earning these titles. If you have a dog that competes in any type of test or tournament, you know it truly takes a village and many hours of training.

We are super impressed by our good friend J&J Double Trouble Pointing Labs for making the final run offs with our girl Tikka at the National Upland Classic Series Nationals this past week. 🔥 This was a huge accomplishment since Tikka and Jacob have not ran any tournament hunts together prior to this event. Tikka went and proved she can handle herself with anybody behind her as the handler. We are beyond proud and feel blessed to have such good friends! 🥰

Meet Skye! She is out of our last Benelli x Rock litter. She brings beauty and intelligence to back up her name for only being 1 year old! Skye had a fantastic day out picking up ducks. With 9 guns and a few other furry friends, there was a lot of chaos going on but she remained focused to her task at hand. She had a very tempting situation with a duck landing within 10 feet from her and she stood steady until commanded. She had a good retrieve on a diving cripple and an incredible mark on 80+ yards. We are so proud of Skye and her handler! 🐾 🦆 “This pup’s gotta fly!”-Skye, Paw Patrol

This little project seems to be going well...

It was just here!

Took Benelli out for a romp today. She locked up on two points and of course I turned the camera off about 10 seconds two early as she went down the hill 20 yards she put a rooster up. And for the critics out there, she held the point quite a while before I was smart enough to take my phone out. And only broke because I talked to her.

Worked water again this morning! Otter is getting pretty good at these games.
