Teaching your dog to “place” has so many benefits! 🐾
1. Impulse Control: It helps your dog learn to settle and stay calm in various situations, promoting better behavior.
2. Focus and Attention: The behavior encourages your dog to focus on you and the task, improving communication.
3. Safety: It can keep your dog in a designated area during busy times, reducing the risk of accidents.
4. Socialization: A “place” command allows your dog to remain calm and controlled around guests or other distractions.
5. Mental Stimulation: The training process itself provides mental challenges, which can be enriching for your dog.
Overall, it fosters good manners and enhances your dog’s behavior! 🐶✨
A well-trained dog is often happier and healthier because training enhances their ability to interact positively with their environment and with people. Here are a few reasons:
1. Better Behavior: Training helps dogs understand what is expected of them, reducing anxiety and confusion.
2. Increased Freedom: Trained dogs can be trusted to roam off-leash in safe areas, explore new environments, and participate in activities like hiking or playing with other dogs, which contributes to their physical and mental well-being.
3. Socialization: Training often involves socialization with other dogs and people, helping dogs develop good manners and reducing the likelihood of fear or aggression.
4. Mental Stimulation: Training provides mental challenges that keep dogs engaged and stimulated, which is important for their overall happiness.
5. Stronger Bond: Training fosters a better relationship between the dog and owner, leading to increased trust and understanding, which contributes to the dog’s emotional health.
Overall, a well-trained dog enjoys a richer, more fulfilling life.

Introducing the Pack and Play Program
I am excited to introduce a brand new program, the Pack and Play Program. @shorthairsandshotguns and I have teamed up to offer this perfectly blended combination of daycare, school and camp! Each day is a unique adventure that balances structured activities and playtime to promote mentally, emotionally and physically fit dogs.
We understand the challenges of being gone for long days or finding appropriate social situations for your pup. We are happy to be able to provide a supportive environment for dogs to interact with ease and fun.
We look forward to sharing lots of Pack and Play Program Adventures
