Chester has had his cage his entire life, previous owners tried to change for a larger but Chester wasn’t happy so went back to his original, since we have had him we have introduced extra ( lots) toys etc and a new play frame which he likes , he went straight to investigate ( apologies for the music it’s what he likes lol )

Kenya's xray results showed no signs of cancer, tumors or lung issues. He does however have a slightly enlarged heart on the left side which I am told is not uncommon for middle aged birds (he is 28). Bloodwork results may or may not reveal more information and we will have those tomorrow (Thursday). We will continue with the anti seizure medication, phenobarbital, as prescribed 2x daily, which seems to be helping. 😀👍. Our family wants to Express our thankfulness for the hundreds of prayers and kind words to support us through this scary time. When I know more I will post. We are so happy to know Kenya will be with us much longer🙏🏻😀♥️🦜👍

UPDATE/ edit: Please- I KNOW the bird WAS plucking. This is NOT my first post here so I didn’t ask about the plucking because I already KNoW all I need to know about it. Feel free to look up all other posts from me to learn more about this story, but briefly, she is a rescue and had been plucking at his previous home after the passing of her previous owner that also came with some living condition changes… i specifically asked about the grinding because it’s a new thing she has been doing.

What is she doing and why? She has been grinding her beak continuously for no apparent reason. Is not o my when she is sleepy. In one of the videos you see she is sleepy but in the other she is not.

A YEAR AS GONE BY AND ROCCO IS STILL MISSING FROM NETHERHALL LEICESTER. If anyone has bought an African Grey parrot since May 2022 please contact me with the ring number to check its not Rocco has u may have unknowingly bought a stolen bird. If any one knows of some one who has aquired 1 please contact us. Thank you to every one who has been sharing . We are devastated and just want him home 💔💔💔💔
