Standard longhair puppies, anyone? 😍 4 weeks old tomorrow. I will have 4 available, 1 male and 3 females. I'm holding my black/tan female back at this time. They will be ready around May 29th.
Red male, Sophie and Flare, longhair miniature. He will be available on December 28th.
I will absolutely hold my puppies until the first of the year if you have vacation plans and such. It's a very stressful time to put a young puppy into a home during the holidays, and I refuse to sell puppies for Christmas morning.
These puppies started their life using ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation), and we use many of the Puppy Culture protocols to raise our puppies. They are almost weaned and already using the litter box, so we will now begin crate training.
We require an approved application and a $250 non-refundable deposit. The balance due upon pickup will be $750. I will relinquish their papers after they are spayed/neutered. They will be vaccinated twice, dewormed several times, and microchipped.
Application can be found her: www.countryroaddachshunds.com/application

What IS this pokey thing?!
Previous posts have information on our available puppies. 😁
Sophie's munchkins. One red female is available, as are 1 red male and 2 black/tan males.
Updates-
Flare x Sophie: 1 week old today. All 6 babies are doing really well! Momma is fabulous, as always.
Rowan x Notrele: One week old today. Unfortunately despite my tube feeding efforts, I lost my little girl. 😢 I feel confident in knowing I did everything I could, mother nature just wasn't on her side. I have two little boys that I've been sponge feeding a bit, but they're also gaining on their own. I'm hopeful.
Ender x Pixel: (video below) 5 days old, and chunky little beans. They're doing fabulous.
Things are settling down, and I am determined to do pictures this weekend. So, be on the lookout!
Notrele/Flare babies!
I will have a couple boys available, but no clue as to whom until I can evaluate for show between 8-12 weeks.
Pixel babies.
All spoken for!
Grace babies!
Only one black/tan girl available.
CH Charming x Gracie litter. 3.5 weeks old, and finally have their taste of freedom from the whelping bed. 😝 Next up, litter training and puppy mush!
I promise I'll do pictures this weekend... but, will this hold you over until then? 😇
So, question for our puppy buyers.. past, present, & future!
Do you prefer pictures? Videos? A little of both?
Enjoy my Pixel babies chowing down in the meantime. 😍
Watch this only if you want your dogs to go insane. 😐
😂
These puppies may end up being some of the biggest puppies I've ever had. They're so chunky!

Sophie's puppies got their first bath today!
I wanted to take a second to explain a little about what happened the other day. Notrele went into labor about 8-ish days before her expected due date. We had hoped that she ovulated early, which would mean the likelihood of viability would have been greater. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Her first puppy was dead on arrival, and we expected the same for the others. The next two were born alive, but gasping, barely hanging on. I had to rub them down, dry them, pat them, I did everything in my power to get them going. Somehow, someway, they're alive. The last one was born dead, and it may be likely that she had died a couple days prior. That could have been why she went into labor, to expell the deceased puppy - though, it is only speculation, and I'll likely never know the real reason, we can only hope that this doesn't happen in a future pregnancy. So, over the past two days, I've been expressing Notrele's colostrum to feed to the babies, as they were born prior to getting their suckle reflex. I'm having to express and feed them every 2 hours around the clock. We've used up all of the colostrum, and her milk isn't coming in very quickly, so we put Sophie's puppies on her to bring in her milk, and that's what you see in this video.
We are praying that this brings in her milk, then we will continue to rotate 2 puppies on her to maintain milk production. God willing, these two puppies of hers will survive, and once they are able to suckle properly, we can hopefully put them on her.
If I never get 2 well pictures, please know it wasn't for the lack of trying! They were starving, clearly!
