When it rains it pours!!! FOSTER NEEDED for Calvin’s brother Hobbs also. We had an x-ray done to see if Hobbs has hip dysplasia like his brother Calvin and he does unfortunately. He’s going to need a foster also and surgery . These brothers are the sweetest labs you will ever meet . Once fosters are found we can schedule surgery and raise $$. 3-5 month foster.

Meet Marley 23 # 2-3y (mom), Thomas J 5.6 # (black/white) & Veda 4.1 #(tan) both 8-9w. Little Veda has a foster but Thomas J needs one and I’d love to find Marley a foster also . Anyone interested???

URGENT Foster needed! This is gonna be a a very selfless commitment to help this boy. Meet Calvin he just turned 1 year and I noticed he had gotten smaller in the rear than his much larger brother Hobbs and he had a wonky walk so he went for xray. He has severe hip dysplasia and needs FHO surgery on both sides. He will have to recover and strengthen on the first side before the other hip can be done. He is so so sweet and dog friendly. He’s very laid back probably because of the discomfort he’s feeling. He likes to lay down to play with his brother and he mostly lays around and wants belly rubs. Can anyone find it in their heart to give this boy a warm, comfortable loving place to heal? Food provided. And I will transport to all medical appointments.

Please be kind to opossums. Many of them find a cozy place to combat the cold. So many we see are missing parts of tails, ears and toes due to previous frost bite-- and your garage or porch may be the only place they have. Opossums won’t hurt anything-- promise-- and shooing them out may be certain death due to lack of shelter. They are Northern America’s ONLY marsupial. And these precious souls eat fleas, ticks and other pests.

🐾🐾January 11th marked 5 years as your ACO! It’s been such a pleasure to help all the fur babies in Mayflower. I absolutely love my job and love dogs and cats so this was a dream job for me. We have 6000 followers on this page and all of you make a difference in each dog life that comes to our shelter. Your amazing donations help feed and house these baby’s. Your comments and shares help get our posts out there and help get dogs home and dogs adopted. I look forward to many more years serving the community and the unwanted dogs of our community. 🐶Straw got delivered to 4 family’s today for their dogs! 🐾🐾🐾🐾
Does anyone have any concerns about dogs that may not have STRAW for this cold? If you do and they are in the city limits, please message me the address so we can make sure I can get some straw out to people that can’t afford it.
