Last night was graduation for our recent Proof Your Dog class. These dogs and handlers were put to the test with some real world tasks and they all did amazing!! Great work all!🎓🐾

📣 Class Announcement 📣

This one day/time class is to prep before the next Canine Good Neighbour test June 2nd. We will be covering all 12 tasks, working with both Redeemed K9 trainers. The CGN is a great program that certifies your dog can conduct themselves in a manner which is reliable and trustworthy in situations encountered in everyday living, or in the presence of other dogs.

This past weekend was spent at the Hub City Kennel and Obedience Club annual show. To say our team rocked it is an understatement! It was a first time showing experience for some of our handlers/dogs and the puppies handled the new experience like old pros.

It was a successful weekend with 2 CGN passes, 1 obedience qualifying score, 1 new champion, and some really great learning experiences. We couldn't be more proud of all these teams!! 👏👏

Due to the weather last night we unfortunately missed a couple of our puppies from graduation night for Puppy Life Prep. But the ones who were able to come showed how much fantastic progress they have made! We were thoroughly impressed by these teams! Way to go and keep up the great training!! 🎓🐾

We love a good underdog story.

This handsome rottweiler is Gus. Gus is a wonderful dog who like so many of his breed was misunderstood. Recently Gus was kicked out of a training class with another company and labelled as "aggressive" simply because he lacked context. He's a farm dog coming to the city and he happened to show some big emotions. But for his breed he is often judged because he's big and looks scary.

We evaluated and worked with Gus's owners through 1 session where they worked as a great team to overcome his big emotions and give him context of how to be a city dog. He shared the training space with 4 different high energy working dogs and Gus learnt other dogs are no big deal. His owners were given some homework to continue his great progress and we are happy to welcome Gus into our classes anytime! 😊

We have a special place in our hearts for the misunderstood breeds and the reactive dogs that need a little extra help. If you have a dog that fits into these categories, please reach out. We'd love to chat and find a way to help you and your dog.

•Conventional Obedience focuses on obedience tasks like loose leash heeling, sits, downs, stays, recall and more. A perfect beginner class for any age of dog. Or if your dog has already completed a beginner class, we can give you new tasks at a novice level.

One thing we pride ourselves on is continuous learning so that we can provide the best and most up to date information for our clients. Even if that means stepping out of our comfort zone and trying new things!

How might this help you may ask? Well if we have a client come in with a problem and their dog mainly does flyball for example, if we have an understanding of that sport on a first hand level then we are able to create a plan for that dog that doesn't interfere with their sport. Plus we can have a better idea of the environment in which they are working to have an overall picture of how we can help them.

We recently gave flyball a try thanks to Turn Based Tactics Flyball. Riot is having a blast learning all this new stuff! 🐾

We have another round of Conventional Obedience planned! This class focuses on trial prep for the Pre Novice level. It targets correct positioning and command accuracy. Proper heeling, sits and downs. Perfecting the recall, and getting those sit and down stays with distractions. We cover trial terminology and help you to achieve the goals you've set out for you and your dog.

This is an entry level class, perfect for anyone wanting to start trialing or even if you just want to work on perfecting your dogs obedience. Class size is limited. Message to book your spot!

We are running another round of the Proof Your Dog class! This class is for any dog that has completed a basic foundational obedience class. We will test what your dog already knows and push it farther. This class includes many distractions and is a lot of fun for building on your relationship with your dog. Our Conventional Obedience class is getting close to wrapping up and all of these handlers are doing such a great job with their dogs! Conventional Obedience targets CKC trial prep. This class is currently the Pre-Novice group. Can't wait to see all of these dogs in the trial rings 😁

Our Redeemed team took on the challenging Canine Good Neighbour test yesterday and absolutely rocked it! All of our team handlers and dogs passed and we couldn't be more thrilled for them!! You all worked so hard to achieve this accomplishment ❤️❤️

Starting Wednesday March 13th @ 8:00PM will be our Puppy Life Prep class!

This class will work on an introduction to basic obedience skills such as focus, sit, down, and the beginning of a solid recall plus more. As well as environmental awareness - getting your puppy used to different sights, sounds and textures that they will encounter in their daily life. Also we will be building on your puppy's confidence as well as your confidence as a handler.

This is an ideal class for anyone working through the puppy stage 🐶
