Towards the end of September is the time that we start to notice our fur babies coats maybe getting thicker for those with cobs. Some of you aren't sure to clip of not. My thoughts are they are better to be clipped now while it's warmer and take everything off then you can use a lighter rug and this will slow their coat growth down so they don't grow such a thick coat later or you can then reclip with a different type of clip but the original clip will not be so thick.

I am happy to take booking for both present and future, just drop me a message. I will not be increasing my prices this year.

This time of year some horses are growing cat hairs but not enough coat to reclip. These cat hairs are the really long ones and can make the horse look untidy. I have used my Harmony 4.3mm blades and run over the areas that need tidying up without touching the coat underneath and removed the cat hairs.

Hi guys, I am still alive🤣 didn't realise I hadn't posted anything this year!

It's that time of year again, I will be back from hols next week but only have a couple of spaces available for then. If you would like your horses clipped then please contact me. I am also happy to take future bookings if you don't want them done yet but don't want to be caught out.

Replaced my old battery clippers with Liveryman Harmony. I spoke with Liveryman about blades when clipping heavy feathers and they recommended the standard 2.5m fine blades. Tbh I was very skeptical but used them to take out some hairy feathers and they worked a treat. Today I clipped a very hairy cob with exceptional thick and greasey legs. Used my big clippers and they found it hard work with medium blades in so thought I'd try my Harmony. Unbelievably they went through with such ease so I took all the legs off. I can't recommend these enough. Thank you Liveryman for designing them.
