He needs a companion home.
Perfect for lead lining the kiddos.

He does have a bum knee
but he is 100% a gentleman.
Such a good boy and he deserves a great home.

Day 6

When Joker arrived, we noticed he had a stitch at the end of a long jagged scar.... we also noticed he did not like anyone to get near his mouth. So, since his arrival we've been playing with him and giving him cookies. He's a pretty sweet dude but he does have a temper. Today he seemed to be comfortable enough for us to check out his stitch and try to remove it. There was obviously something hindering the healing and this seemed like the most likely culprit.

As we led him in the stocks, I was mindful that we might be required to go digging for the other stitches because he had abruptions along the scar... so I was praying that all would go smoothly. 🙏

We cut the stitch and to my joy this entire running suture came out in one pull. Now he can heal. Joker seems so relieved... I know I am. ❤️

We had to cut the old Halter off, then we fitted him with a cozy leather halter. He looks dapper.

He's eating great, his energy level is high, his rehab is going well.

This mare is absolutely gorgeous... her movement is clean and out of this world pretty.

She is so smart... Penny remembers all of her roundpwn work from the last time she was here... we will reevaluate her under saddle next week.

Penny is high energy and would benefit from an adopter with an experienced background. She has had some time off and will most likely need a refresher.

We feel that she would make an AMAZING endurance partner.

Chief is a fabulous horse. Not spooky, not herd sour. Everyone rides him from kids to grannies. He's got speed, but he is more whoa than go.

He's awesome on the trail, likes playday events and does well with obstacles.

Safe on the ground, picks up feet, stands for bathing and fly spray.

Yall, he has only had ONE visitor and they just weren't the right match!

Yeah, I'm picky...
yeah, there is a no sell contract.

No, I'm not offering him as a rodeo horse. No, I don't really want a beginner to have him because HE IS SMARTER THAN MOST PEOPLE! He needs someone that appreciates him and won't let him get away with things. He WILL take advantage. He needs someone that can ride.

Yes, I have taught lessons on him from ages 4 to 45... BUT he needs tune ups in between each lesson.
He is a ONE PERSON (or family) HORSE.

He is an AMAZING trail horse. Will go over anything you point him at. He is NOT SPOOKY AT ALL. He will push gates open, self load in the trailer, traffic doesn't bother him, etc.
