WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH MY PROFESSION..A cat goes in for being sick and vet says may be pregnant or pyometra, sends home with nothing, cat gets sicker and vet wants 3000 to 5000 for a pyometra, owners cant afford like most working people and they send home and by the time they find us the cat dies..I TRULY BELIEVE ECONOMIC EUTHANASIA IS THE BIGGEST THREAT TO COMPANION ANIMALS AT THIS TIME..We see 8000 to 12,000 dollars quotes all the time for things that can easily be done for half that with good profit..This is greed and nothing more..As soon as a clinic goes corporate the prices go up a huge amount via stock holders want their cut..I get it, it is capitalism but now that around 70% of clinics are corporate and the large humane groups do virtually nothing with the millions they are setting on, our pets continue to pay the price..I will give my last breath trying to help as many pets and people that i can and i will set my non-profit up so the future will be bright and my life's work will continue..SOMETHING MUST CHANGE, NOT EVRYTHING CAN BE ABOUT GREED..

Ever since we posted the picture of our beautiful new lobby sign created by local artist Dennie Ibbotson, people have been calling and writing wondering how they can contact Dennie to carve something special for them. Not only would Dennie love the work, his original pieces, including his hand-carved doors are truly spectacular. Check out his website at www.handcarveddoors.com or contact him at 303-670-1445. Denny gave us a gift we’ll always treasure, and we want to pay that kindness forward by making sure Dennie keeps doing the work he loves so much!

OK, OFF TO PINE RIDGE, SOUTH DAKOTA, NATIVE AMERICAN RESERVATION..Our goal is 100 animals a day for 2 days..But more importantly hooking up with a nonprofit called First Families Now..they collect art supplies, sports supplies and camping stuff all to give out to families on several different reservations..TRULY LOOKING FORWARD TO WORKING WITH THEM AND BRINGING STUFF TO THEN NOW AND IN THE FUTURE..GREAT CAUSE..PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN..MY GRANDDAUGHTER AND I WILL BE BUYING 1000 DOLLARS WORTH OF GOODIES TO TAKE..I AM SURE ANYONE CAN REACH OUT TO THEM AND HELP..FIRST FAMILIES NOW FROM PORCUPINE SOUTH DAKOTA..THIS IS HOW YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE..PLEASE HELP..

Check out the new Planned Pethood International welcome sign located in our main lobby! Created by renowned Conifer artist and woodcarver Dennie Ibbotson (standing next to his masterpiece below), Dr. Jeff, Dr. Petra, Dr. Lauren, Dr. Stone and several other PPI staffers were on hand for the grand unveiling. Dennie devoted over 300 hours of his time to carve the sign…all as a thank you to Dr. Jeff and our team for saving his dog’s life. We are in awe of Dennie’s talent, kindness and generosity and are so proud that his sign will welcome people and their pets to PPI for years to come!
