We have some very sad news to share …..GI Joe’s mom Karen wrote the following.

“If anyone has been following the GI Joe or as we liked to call him Joey story. We just wanted to give you an update.

Unfortunately it's not the update we were hoping for.
Yesterday my mom and dad made the difficult decision to let Joey finally rest seizure free. Considering how Joey started with Speranza in a cardboard box with nothing more then a note not sure if he was dead or alive. All they knew was he was very sick.
Joey was given 7 more months or life with the utmost love and the best medical care he could have ever had. My mom went through different medical options and unfortunately Joey's poor body was tired.

Starting life at such a young age with seizures doesn't have the best outcomes for a long and healthy life. This is why education on bad breeding is so important! Do your research!
If you would like to make a donation in Joey's name please send it to Speranza Animal Rescue so they can continue to make a change in animals lives and give them all a second chance just like Joey.”

We are so sad for the loss of this boy but so so thankful he spent these last months with a family who adored and loved him. Rest easy sweet boy. You will never be forgotten. Please keep his family in your prayers 💔🌈

Dog sighted, not secured.

This dog was in my neighborhood earlier this morning in West Lampeter. He ran across Willow Street Pike next to Meadia Heights golf club. Very big, intact male with no collar. Looked to be in good health.

Message from Owner: Please find my baby boy, he's my best friend of 15 years, I've been looking all day, and haven't found any sign of him, he's bonded to one of my other cats and she's been looking for him around the hse too. I'm so scared that he's going to get injured or worse, please someone find him and bring him back to me

Description: Orange medium hair tabby, balding spot on his belly, neck fur is a bit coarse and growing back, loves temptations treats - will come to the sound of them being shaken up
