Meet Latke – A Shy Doodle with a Big Heart!

Hi, I’m Latke! I’m a scared little doodle looking for a patient and loving home where I can learn to feel safe and secure. I came to the shelter as a stray, and while I’m still very fearful and nervous around new people and situations, I have so much potential with the right support.

My ideal home would have older, dog-savvy children (13+) who understand my need for space and time to adjust. My friends at the shelter believe a confident canine companion could really help me come out of my shell and learn to trust.

I need a family who is experienced and committed to working with a shy pup like me—someone who can give me the time, socialization, and care I need to build my confidence and become the best version of myself.

If you think you could be the person or family to help me on this journey, please come down to the shelter to meet me. I may take some time, but I promise I’m worth the effort.

Description: Very friendly young cat. Has a grey collar on and grey stripes with tan and white markings. White paws, belly and nose. The kitty is currently hanging around on our deck.

Description: White/Siamese? Dark rings on tail. Hurt front leg, is limping bad...will not let us get near but seems to be staying in the back yard, we do put food out and a cat hse for warmth and will continue to try to catch him/her.

Adoptable Piglet is just checking to make sure she hasn’t been forgotten! Our sweet girl is still searching for her perfect forever family that will give her all the snuggles. She is a social butterfly and is friendly with both people and dogs. She has not been formally cat tested, but could be for an approved applicant. Piglet does have a diagnosis of cerebellar disease, which means a portion of her brain didn’t fully form in utero, but it doesn’t slow her down. Aside from some slightly awkward running, most people would never notice an issue. We think she’s just perfect as is! She’s looking for an active family committed to ongoing training and socialization to keep her 7 month old self on track to being her very best. Could that be you?

Message from Finder: This kitty is definitely not a stray! Has multiple collars on, and ran right up to me while I was on my walk. He was purring loudly and rubbing against my legs, and followed me inside. He seemed cold, but is warm and safe now. I will be taking him to the vet to see if he has a microchip tomorrow.
